She always had lipped some performances, now and also in the 90s. But this says nothing about if she can sing or not (and she can!).

All singers needs some vocal rest from time to time and thats why they lip sometimes. Another cause for lipping is, having a cold or a bad voice day. Remember singers are even just humans and not robots.

I understand that she likes to sing over her own voice to create a better melody to the song, but I'd love to hear everything live, with only the backup singers helping her, not with her own voice recorded.
