I think Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is one of the most underrated adventure movies ever. People inevitably compared it to "Raiders of the Lost Ark", rather than taking it for what it was, yet another tribute to the old serials.
Still think the mine cart chase holds up in these CGI days.
I remember when I first started watching Temple of Doom, I heard the song, and I said to my dad, "Is this the right movie?" Then the whole poison thing, and I was like "oooh..."
She's singing it (Kate Capshaw, who is Steven Spielbergs wife) but it's in Chinese. So that's different, plus she's got a red thing, and what can you say about that? You know?
