Guys you are amazing! Blessed Be!

  • Very nice video!!!! I love Moonsorrow!!!! Greetings from Serbia!!!

  • The author - 5 starts! Excellent pics set.

  • You wrote IOTUNHYM instead of JOTUNHEIM. Stop writing Runen if you don't know the value of each one. Do it when learnt about them.

    Salutations.

  • ihana....

  • Very sad video. Amazing song.

  • I can't say how wonderful is this music with this video!! Masterful...

    HAIL FROM HUNGARY!!!

  • I like how the song title fits with the theme,

jotunheim was where monsters and trolls lived, not the world is dominated by humans who destroy it, so in some way this is jotunheim now, we are the monsters.

  • lol.... jotunheim was the land of the giants (frostgiants etc.) were thor fought and made adventures together with loki ... not a world of monsters and trolls...

  • some ppl dont understand :/ thor and his nail driver ........ i mean hammer lol

  • Great band !!!!

  • This song and video together make me feel how unfair life really is in nature. And all becouse of human.. Anyway great Song.

  • Makes you sad to see the forests cut down, doesen't it?

  • Troppo bella.

  • I´m from Czech republic. I have never seen moonsorrow albums here. :)

  • beautiful video really makes u appreciate nature, the music makes it all more great

  • Moonsorrow, lords of folk metal...

    And Jotunheim is simply beautiful.

  • +10 000, and not only folk metal

  • At the time 600-900 AD, when the vikings were strong in scandinavia, finnish tales of Kalevala was happening in Finland.

  • Hehe, at the beginning you can hear the call of Gavia Arctica... and you see a picture of a bald eagle.. :P

Ah well, nice video and song anyway. :)

  • thanks for posting this amazing piece of music... truly epic..

  • Great Video

    Excellent Band

    Awesome Song

  • They've got very strong Bathory influence.

  • Well I am quite confused about this video. Jotunheim was/is a world of giants not man. The Earth was called Midgard as far as I know.

Anyways I have got to admit its a really beautiful video

  • you should read Edda

  • Do you know where I can find translated Edda? I would be very grateful for a link or some explanation why Jotunheim is shown here as earth - Midgard.

Thank you for thousand times brother in music ;)

  • joutunheim is also a place in norway if you didn't know.this video is filmed there

  • are you sure there are almost no bears in norway?

  • There are only about 50 bears in norway nowdays. I think that there has been more bears earlyer.

  • yes they have been hunt to extinct

  • There are too few bears in Norwaty, only around 126. Says Wikipedia :D

  • yes they are really beutiful

  • They've used some Norse in their lyrics (obviously) :)

  • im kinda confused here. moonsorrow is finnish and they write about finnish mythology but jotunheim is norse. and they hav viking ships on sum of their albums. sum1 explain plz

  • maybe they did'nt know much about finnish mythology and pre christianity before later that's pretty common

  • Some historians speculate that the Jotunheim norwegians was speaking of was actually Finland, where the giants used to live. There are studies from it. And Finns also used longboats and also raided villages, but they weren't seen as Vikings. Some Finns also accompanied Vikings with their raids.

  • its not complet

  • Tremenda canción y grito!! desgarrador

  • This video was made to intimidate fish.

  • HAHA! Fucking funny! Goes straight to msn-topic as a quote

  • sa iti fut rasa mati de aici din Romenia fuck you

  • the bear is my favourite animal like here.I always wear a neclace with bears, like to the ancient finns it was the greatest of the animals.

  • man...great video...it shows all the great things mother nature gave to us and all the terrible shit we do to her...

  • @Trollcorpse

mother nature is all about murder for survival. also, we humans are part of nature, so if anything nature is killing herself.

  • @LfunkeyA Is Humanity the one who is killing itself. Nature doesn't kill for greed.

  • @Trojax

mother nature kills for needs and wants of all living things. humans are the ones who happen to have wants. destruction and death are necessary for the cycle of everything.

  • Impresionante!!!

  • cierto ^^

  • +1

    gran grupo i gran cancion

  • God damn love this song, when they played it live at Paganfest I damn near jizzed my pants.

  • whre was this pagan fest ?

  • last year in tilburg, NL. I was there too, it was great!

  • @ 2:20 henri is lagging xD

  • Probably the best beginning I've ever seen, and the music is wonderful, truly viking. Where can I get the vid for playing it on my phone? I really like this

  • download it here, its absolutly legal

    I prefer realplayer

  • how can I do that? ^^'

  • truly viking? they are from finland...and their music has nothing to do with vikings.

  • I've heard that folk black metal music is called viking metal, that's what I said

  • uhhh they try to distance themselves from the "viking metal" shit.

  • they'd most likely be classifieied as either pagan metal or even folk/black metal

  • Ah this song reminds me of the time when I walked trough a rainy forest and listened to this masterpiece. Pure awesomenes

  • yeaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh QUE CHINGON ES MOONSORROW THE BEST

  • Jotunheim is one of the nine worlds, the homeland of the frost giants and rock giants.

  • was'nt also in some ancient times a frost giant called the king of the finns or something. i think i remember something like that from eddan

  • This is my favorite song by them and one of my favorite songs in general. So epic.

  • fantastic song !!! MOONSORROW !!!!........I have same idea like this song !!

  • This is awesome, stupid humans, I hate us, we're dispicable, but Moonsorrow is amazing

  • Actually, Jotun is a Giant...but close enough. Just what a Giant is, is up for interpretation however.

  • Beautiful planet Earth and awful humains!

  • cojonudos

  • Fantastic video, fantastic song.

  • Fuckin Bastards destroying jotunheimen.

    The Gods live there!

  • "Halki pohjoisen kirkas taivas siintää

    metsän huuruun saattaa kylmällä sateellaan

tähdet taakseen kätkee, meren tuleen sytyttää

    ukkosellaan vuoriakin vavisuttaa

    päivät seisauttaen öisin raivoten"

  • I love this song and video is great, but imo it was mistake put eagle in the beginning "do" the bird-voice because voice wasn't made by eagle. Sorry my meticulously :P

  • Excellent job, keep it up!

  • Danke, mein Freund.

  • Well showed ,the human scum in its perverted lifestyle,a shame for every thinking man beeing one of THAT

  • jo a klipp csak hogyha skandinav zenekar ne Eszakamerika helyeit kellene mutassa!

  • masterpiece!

  • man ruined this good green Earth... it was so beautiful! Fortunately, still is in some places.

This video is very well composed and the music is beautiful.

  • szacun jak diabli za cały Jotunheim

  • best music vid ever made

  • Amazing

  • I could die right now listening to this song! its truly a masterpiece!

  • great fucking song

  • i like this Band so much ,, this song is the best i ve ever heard

  • My favourite moonsorrow song :) beautiful video

  • absolutely beautiful. if i had made this video, i would have had less wildlife, and more barren mountains, snow, and foggy lakes and stuff.

  • great video nonetheless though.

  • Thanks, but I see so

  • uff sublime el video super referente a la rolar felicidades hermoso de verdad la naturaleza y el metal por siempre

  • esta rola es buenisima

  • damn i LOVE the music but no matter how much i try i cant dig the vocals...

  • Sorry to be nosy, but why is that?

    Great vid by the way.

  • Well firstly I like to understand what they sing.

also I think Finnish lacks the same flow that other languages have. I know that might be stupid but it´s just my opinion.

  • Oh ok.

For me, the language isnt really important, as I think lyrics are the least important part of music.

  • I don't think I'd like moonsorrow as much if they sung it in english. I can get the story by just listening to the music, and i think the finnish vocals add an awesome affect, especially when they are spoken or sung.

  • Definitely agree. The music is a story in itself. No need to understand the lyrics.

  • indeed.

I've actually been working on my own long folk metal song.

Henry Servilli does an awesome job writing those epics

  • Me to!

  • i like the spider flinging the dew drop away

  • Moonsorrow creates a unique atmosphere, unlike any other band out there.

  • i nakes ne crying to see trees fall

    but very great song

  • Falkenbach is amazing, along with Ensiferum and that whole bunch.. but I feel a stronger connection to Moonsorrow than any other metal band, possibly to do with the part that I don't know any Finnish, so I don't really have any uh, vocal security to listen to... But I fucking love it, I'm seeing them in November now in Toronto :D

  • Surely one of the best songs ever made....

  • a great song and a great video

  • If you like Moonsorrow may I suggest a similar band, German 1 man band called Falkenbach. Although it's likely you guys have heard of him.

  • All of your videos are amazing, this especially kicks unparralled amounts of anus.

  • Really nice work with the video! Song owns!

  • Awesome video

  • This is an excellent song. It is truly a masterpeice, and a motivation to me. Eternal Hails to Moonsorrow, lords of the North!

  • truly epic.

  • I'm speachless..

  • One of the bests songs I've ever heard.

  • Hail the High Ones

    Hail Moonsorrow

    "Hail to those that Listen!"

    Never better said than here!

    Many Hails

    Manchester Heathen

    Slinnmark

  • epic, genius, wonderfull...

    amazing!

  • anteeks nyt vaan mutta alussa laulaa kuikka ja kuvassa KOTKA? ei kiitos.

  • Itekkö kuvasit nuo video kohdat. Jos niin teit, niin on kyllä mahtavaa jälkeä.

  • kiitos hienosta videosta

  • This is a fucking epic song, and nice vid too!

  • The nature video is from British Columbia Canada and by the way it is not destroying nature its called clear cutting.

  • your so stupid

  • сам дурак, америкашка

  • now can you type in something thats not russian( german or english)

  • now you can stop being gay

  • why dont you start being muture

  • because I already am

  • sure sounds like it

  • I'm glad you agree.

Can this stop please?, it's quite futile and I'd rather not comment-urinate over this very masterful person's video.

Anyway, at least we both like good music.

  • yeah

  • Well said!

  • Anyone has tabs for this? Amazing!

  • Tämän äärellä on hyvä hiljentyä mielessään..Musiikkia parhaimmasta päästä. Ehdottomasti.

  • kiitos paljon

  • 10 out of fucking 10! end of fucking story !

  • and where the CATS?

  • We dont have bald eagles in Finland. Looks more like Canada.

  • you have other eagles, so i'v heard. My friend, have you ever heard of very non-patriotic American being able to live in Finland for the rest of his days? I am Nordic 100% but not finnish, you are all so free there, and have living breathing culture!!! I am dead without being apart or at least surrounded by a strong and smart people. Please respond, and be honest, if you honestly think I am not welcome in Finland then please say so. I would do whatever it takes to be able to live there, anything

  • Really good but whre is the giants of Jotunheim?

  • jään välkehtiessä hiljaa itkevät

It is impossible to understand all so literally, it is allegory

  • Beautiful song and video. Verisakeet is a perfect album! Good job!

  • it shows people cutting down forests and destroying nature, which the jotuns work through them, figuraly speaking of course.

  • beautiful song! the instruments sounds perfect, but i prefere it when they scream less and in a softer way :D

  • its not bad this video, but way too many animal shots, the songs about mythic giants not salmon.... needs more snow, just my opinion

  • I apologize, urgently I go in Jotunheim, I take off there alive jotuns and I alter a clip(joke).

  • It's nonsense by the way, in northern mytholgy giants mostly refer in some way to chaotic life- force. untempered by rulels in any way. they ar products of the chaos before the asen came. i think you captured that perectly, although I don't know if you realised that.

what I didn't get were the vlips in the second part of space, I'm sure you thought about it.

and y the way: you've done an amazing job! can't think of all the hours editing. brilliant!

  • Thank for attention. Do not doubt, I know the Scandinavian mythology.

Certainly, I shall not go anywhere and I shall alter nothing, we, Russian, like to joke.

  • i see ur point, still though, the mountain shots work just fine for me
