Love your video - you're right, there's no closure to what could have been one of the greatest love stories in TV history. I was really looking forward to buying the complete series on DVD, but the way it ended .. ugh! My imagination, fanfics and youtube videos provide a much better resolution for Skate than the actual show did. Shame on Darlton for giving all the other ho-hum couples a happy ending and giving Skate, in my mind the OTP of the show, nothing. So sad.
I completely agree! Even going back to the earlier seasons and the chemistry they had, you just can't ignore a couple like that in a finale, I think the creators always imagined the ending revolving around Jack which is why I won't be buying the DVDs either, I wish they had given Skate fans something in the finale though, a look on the plane or footage of them landing safely - It was blatantly ignored, still I choose to make up my own ending too :)
Oh gosh this almost made me cry! What a sad sad song :( Perfect for them. I nearly did cry when you showed that scene from the final at 3.27. The ONLY good scene of the final really. The glow overlay is beautiful and really fits with the mood of the video. They are so beautiful and epic, and I will never understand how they didn't end up together. Great job. ♥
I tried to make it a bit happier at the end, that scene at 3:27 had more energy than any other moment in the finale even though it was so short - I was just about to write 'I will never understand how they didn't end up together' and then saw that's exactly what you wrote lol Seriously though Sawyer and Kate are like the epitome of epic.
