  • For me I dont know that i suffer from adhd before but when I did use meth it feels like im always happy and i can concentrate in what im doing it feels like im intelligent. But after the meth lasts. I can see myself having a hard time focusing so thats the reason why I research all of this videos articles etc. tests to prove that I have adhd. And guess what I have adhd. And by this it really helps me when I use meth occasionally to put some dopamine in my brain to work and be motivated.

  • this dude is trying so hard to be creative, cause that means add foor some reason?

  • I want to know what drugs they put him on?

  • lol nah you just a lazy lame-o

  • you drawDUBBLE RAIINBOOOW MAN!?

  • theres a natural remedy called synaptrol

which I am going to try myself

  • ok this was intressting

  • i'm getting stuck with study and everything else someone else with ADD wanna share thoughts and experience? thomas1801@live.nl

  • So out of curiosity, I wanted to see what people think of ADHD. And all I can do I laugh at the comments people put down. I do agree that the disorder is pulled out of context to be used as an excuse. But it is real. 75% of people have it. But it depends of how bad. Thats why people can say that its not real, and you can fix it with time and discipline. And very true for some. But others won't be able to. And to say that they are lazy or dump is not fair. Just cause you have it easy.

  • crayon man srsly?

  • i have ADHD i couldn't even finished the video o wait it was just fucking boring its not ADHD its just boredom and depression come on people back in older times people needed to do things because they had to eat we have it a lot easier than our ancestors. ADHD is not a disease i think it could be mistaken as stress or just plain old laziness

  • @Rarul8 How is it laziness when you're doing a million things at once; when every thought sparks 10 more thoughts...?

    And you're right: it's not a diseases.

  • I've got a bad feeling that I could have the same problem, but I also think that it's just my fault, even when I try hard. I can't even read for prolonged periods.

  • I've got ADD,

And I find studying hard to do, I have trouble listening in class or in fact listen to anyone talking without zoning out of a conversation and imagining some random situation that would have absolutly nothing to do with the current subject "Day Dreaming",and then after coming "back to conciousness" where i find myself needing to ask the person to repeat what they have said because i was not really concious and didnt hear anything they said while in that state.

  • I never had to draw or anything. The only thing similar here is the 20 minute test with the goddamn dot haha.

My IQ was tested though. It turned out I have ~130 in IQ. But one of the tests was to evaluate my working memory (essential for concentration and short-term memory), and it's "just" at 114 - slightly above normal, but compared to my brain's over-all capacity, there's a huge gap in the results, which means I have a significant cognitive disability. Despite my very high IQ.

  • So what abot the ones who can,t finnish what teacher asked in class cause you where intrupted. You for got what you did and couldn,t redo in time.Thought process was person followed was getting along until some one said a call on me then all whent blank.no answer for teacher.what that called?

  • I am the type person can,t be late some place. It bugs me.It bugs me when car window has marks in vision.Alot more now then ever before.

  • @dankcat420 no .I know other can,t be on time.It aint what you call it.It is a respect thing I can,t be late and feel good because I disrespected. As far as that mark on the glass it is right in front and I am nearsighted. Not farsight so can,t look past it. but not ocd sorry.

  • I have adhd and I just wanted to

  • There is no easy way out (or if there is, getting this diagnosis is not it). Also if you think you have personal work to do before getting the diagnosis, you also have work to do afterwards.

  • can we have a follow up story?

  • m 19 i cant study and focus.my mind starts wandering ,daydreaming a lot.i used to be good at studies in school but from around age 15 i find studies very hard.i feel anxious around in crowd, neither i want to be left alone.i dont like doing boring stuff or things that are not easy.Do i have ADHD/ADD or nothing ?

  • I've been diagnosed with this so called disorder, and it's bullshit folks. We're all trying like hell to focus on what needs to be done, but society and its myriad distractions generate perceived mental illness the more it grows. Are we broken because we can't seem to keep up with this run away civilization? Not when cause and cure are two sides to the same coin. Naming your "problems" as a disorder provides a convenient excuse to avoid the introspective work that actually makes a difference.

  • @chiefcheese08 I think the same way too. Alot of these quack "diagnosis" for extremely banal things is meant to label folks who would have just been called many generations ago "unique." It's no different than the treatments administered to homosexuals and trans folks not that long ago. Also, as Chris Rock said, the government is the biggest drug dealer." Just look at all the drugs they push on your for feeling sad.

  • So then what happened?

  • I've just gotten my diagnosis and I'm waiting for my doctors appointment to figure out the medication.

Now, at work, I'm trying to get some work done that requires me to figure out a lot of small details, and I keep jumping back to Firefox to watch this video :P I've been watching it and pausing it and watching it for the last 30 minutes now :P

I talked to my doctor about ADD (or ADHD-PI as I think it's called now) after I first saw this video :) So thanks a lot for it, it's a great video =)

  • the GIRLFRIEND is HOT!

  • What kind of tests were those??? LOL

I mean, come the hell on.

    What a joke!

  • Adam, this is an excellent film. Great work - sound lighting, etc. it's very professional and interesting regardless of subject. That said, congratulations on discovering more about yourself and paths to success. I was hyperactive as a child and after a lifetime of inability to meet my (or any) potential, a college instructor directed me to some potentially helpful ideas and resources. Good luck in your life and career.

  • You got scammed. The mental health people crafted for you a self fufilling prophecy. Everyone that gets screened turns up with ADD. THey need to fill appoinment bools.

  • @AugustusLarch you are an idiot if you think adhd isnt real

  • @threadysparrow

People don't have good standards of self disipline anymore. That is the real problem. People are enabled in their screwing around antics by people in long white coats telling them they have a disorder.

    Consider.

  • @AugustusLarch you know nothing about adhd and think that you do. adhd exists.

thousands of research studies exist to prove it. and i am an adhd person myself with a real disorder. you have never read the literature on adhd so you wouldnt know

  • @threadysparrow Come on now! We humans have walked this planet for how long? And just now discovering adhd? LOL.

The last woman he spoke with was using words like "Probably" and "I think.."

What she was seeing was a prospective buyer of her BS, and another patient who's going to be paying her for her services. Remember now, Even a drug dealer will give you your first "meds" for free.

Notice all participants except for adam were what?

    WOMEN!

His response time could have been nerve problems.

  • @VicFetters wow you are ignorant. plain ignorant. you know nothing about the science behind adhd because you are uneducated and have never gone to anything higher than a jr college. and you are talking to ME. someone who has experienced adhd first hand and who follows the peer reviewed science of adhd and you are telling ME and I am wrong? come on now. grow up loser

  • Fag lol

  • douchebag.

  • Anyone that thinks its not a real disorder dosn't have it and could never understand. I have adhd, but you have to realise it also give you many talents. I beleive some of the worlds greatest explorers, artistist, inventors, ect. have it. Sometimes it lets me hyper focus on hand/eye tasks

  • Thank you Bro. I drive a kick ass car I have a kick ass house. I just have problems focusing. Thank you for making this vidio. People just dont understand it. It really sucks to live with this. I just got the news last week. And it has helped me to deal with things that I had no clue I was even doing. Thank you again.

  • Thanks for the video. Really helped me see it from a different angle :)

  • wow what a load of doo doo

  • you look like an adhd

  • to all those who think they have adhd you should get tested and get meds they saved my life. im currently on adderall i have no clue about other meds but you have to find whats right for you so keep an open mind and give it a chance

  • i pretty much would have killed myself if i hadent gotten on meds i was so hopeless thought i was worthless and stupid until i got on meds. it really makes me angry when people who havnt been through it just talk out of their asses they have no idea what this is like. you think we want this you think we want everything we do to be harder for us

  • Whoever is saying ADHD/ADD does not exist, well you are just uneducated and talking out of your ass! This illness can cripple your life, most people with adult ADHD, like me, become hermits if not on medication, its hard to do anything or stay focused, its like your thoughs are buzzing in your head like a thousand bees day and night, you get tired from it and frustrated...its a difficult illness to live with. So...I wish everyone suffering with this illness all the best!

  • @feeefyefofuuum~ having the right diet makes a huge difference!

  • Unless you've been through it...you don't have anything to base your BS negative comments...I lived my life today...as if everything was going to fail tomarrow!

    About 5 months ago...I got a good shrink...good meds...good counseling...Life is peachy!!

Ask my Mom...Dad... Sister...oh yeah...my WIFE!!! There is hope in all that I say and do!

    PS: I'm 47 years old...try that hat on...ese!

  • @jballzzz - I am happy for you friend!

  • @feeefyefofuuum- Thank you kindly!!!

  • his girlfriend is hot

  • I have AC/DC ;]

  • IT DOESN'T EXIST. I was diagnosed with it and it doesn't exist! Stop drugging the kids. And adults stop drugging yourselves!

  • Great film! very honest. I was diagnosed 2years ago and it really put a lot into perspective for me. The more you read about it you'll find that although some of the symptoms can be pretty difficult to overcome & can sometimes inhibit your ability to succeed in certain situations, there ARE a lot of great traits associated with our personalities! That should be the topic of your next video! I call it "the gift and the curse" =] good luck on your new journey through life living with AD/HD !

    =]

  • this is bullshit....i dont understand y people need other people to tell them something is wrong with them...people are just insecure about themselves and need some type of answers...i think youll be better off not knowing somethings

  • I was diagnosed with ADHD a year ago, although I wish it were detected and treated when I was a child (thanks to the education department for their failure in doing this). I think the most difficult thing about it is the lack of understanding in others. People often jump to conclusions about what it means to be ADHD.

  • In my school, teachers don't suspect adhd from the kids and they only go on to think they are "lazy" and dumb." My history teacher calls me lazy for not staying on task. total bs but I'm not going to say I have adhd...

  • you're lazy.

  • Yes of course, it is the true reality to others if they believe it to be so. =P

  • it's not the education board's job to detect disorders. you shouldnt blame anyone. what did people do before the word ADHD even existed? I believe that ADHD is a real symptom but there's a load of people who uses the term as their scape goat.

  • I was diagnosed when 6 years old back in 1981. Would like to be re-tested and get some counselling regarding coping strategies.

Ritalin is alright to try, but does not seem a long-term stand alone treatment.

    Any thoughts?

PS. Living in Japan - not a country where you want to have ADHD!

  • Hey fellow add'ers i just downloaded the best tool/toy for my add brain check out "Enounce MySpeed" just Google it. It lets you speed up videos online to match your brains speed

  • I have ADHD...Was diagnosed as an adult, but realize in hindsight that I've had it my entire life. To all of those who say, "get off the drugs" or "stop making excuses for yourself" I/we say, "spend a day in my brain before you say I don't need medication."

  • @beth082173- In 1968-69 I was given Phenobarbital...can you believe it!!!! I spun like a top for pete's sake!

    PS: 3rd grade

  • Get off the drugs, it's not who you are, and it may ruin who you are surposed to become.

You're very creative and child like.

You should be teaching children. You come up with amazing creative ideas that children love. You can't focus maybe because your life doesn't yet depend on it.

When you have to survive or have a bigger responsibility like children, wife, house, you'll be on the ball. Go teach kids. You'll love it, they'll love you.

  • How many people actually get tests like these?

  • LMAO!!!

I think I'm the only one who got the joke considering you have 3 thumbs down ratings when I wrote this.

  • that's right. it doesn't exist. !!

  • if you have a sever case of ADD I'm totally fucked.

i know i was diagnosed with it as a child, but is there anyway to grow out of ADD? is it once you have it you have it for good? seems if it's a mental disorder it could be cured or grow out of it like depression. but i now notice i have a lot of the symptoms talked about earlier in the video. BTW nice girlfriend she is hawt!

  • fuck it

  • I have ADHD, and i don't really know if this guy has it, but that shrink sounded like a new-age hippie dippy. I've met people before and subsequently asked if they have adhd, and had them answer yes every time. People can sometimes tell when other people have it, and i didn't really get that vibe from this guy.

  • they have tests now that can determine it medically, not psychological tests but actual scans. I know I have it, I've had it since I was a kid. It's pretty much ruined my life. It's like your brain is constantly shutting off. You can't sustain a conversation without your mind wandering off. You're always rereading things. You could chalk this up to being slow, but I've got an above average IQ. People always undervalue you also.

  • Well, the guy and his girlfriend said it all. He wanted an excuse. And the medication? Placebo affect, anyone?

I was diagnosed with ADD once and it really is mind over matter. If half the people who claim to have ADD were never diagnosed they'd be perfectly fine.

  • Thanks for this post it was very helpful!

Had it my entire life learned through repetition and compensating. Most people criticize what they don't understand. I realize you can't feel sorry for yourself it does get overwhelming and sometimes I can only do a few things at a time when I feel that way. I can hyperfocus in my area of gifting. A few of my kids have this as well and need to have structure. It's a challenge like anything in life the depression is as well.

  • BULLSHIT! Get the south park remedy.

  • My diagnosis: Your Psychiatrist is lame.

  • Comment removed

  • i believe that there are people that have uncontrollable disorders even extreme cases of ADD but people are diagnosed with ADD and certain disorders way too easily. Reminds me of the ADD episode of south park where the kids were just being normal energetic kids and were diagnosed with ADD. Also, i think pills should be used later in life because they could affect the kids developing brain and when a kid is young, taking care of them with therapy in a positive environment can be more effective.

  • Pure BS.

    You ain't got ADD, moron.

According to the psycho the rapist, everyone has ADD.

  • there's a disease to justify everything these days. Bipolar, add, alcoholic, addict, compulsive eater, compulsive gambler. Everybody says they have a disease. When will people take accountability for their actions? The true source of help is God, not some new fangled pill. Stop trusting in these foolish doctors, realize your utter worthlessness and cry out to God for salvation from your dismal destiny in the lake of fire.

  • f u and yer stupid fairy tail. people beliving in god i wish ther was a pill to cure that lol.

  • as much as i agree with the disease for everything statement, we can't say there aren't chemical imbalances in our bodies that cause certain things. I have been diagnosed with bipolar, ADHD, and depression and i pretty much only believe bipolar. We don't like to take responsibility for our actions but realize that these things do exist. Not as prominently as the books show though.

  • They're sick with Irresponsibility.

  • what is wrong with you no1 is worthless, no one should cry for some imaginary figure. and no1 should just blame his problem on "god" no1 should blame his failure with not praying to a book that says theres some oh so great person look-a-like that is never wrong. he was sayin that he wanted to better himself with out pills and maybe he failed mayb the pills helped him. who knows

i regulary respect religious people but extremist like u make me think of what the world would become.

  • Im pretty sure i have ADD. People ask me all the time but my family really doesnt want to get me tested. I know my dad has it but my mom doesnt want to get me tested. Its pretty funny. Im actually putting off my work right now while watching this video. I am really going to try and get tested after watching this. :)

  • I think if your completing videos like this, which are done really well, I seriously doubt you have anything wrong whatsoever. That lady is a quack, she looks at a crayon drawing and says oh yeah you need drugs. As the video went on I completely expected them to say you had it no matter what you did. I don't really think you should give some one drugs based on how they draw pictures or do meaningless tests. Ill bet 99% of people that walk through that door get prescribed drugs.

  • I and my daughter have been diagnosed with ADHD and we refused meds and are doing JUST FINE the WAY WE ARE.

  • Thanks for sharing this with everyone - I'm sure that your insight and honesty with your own ADD will inspire other experiencing this disorder to take a good look at themselves.

    Very brave and provoking video.

  • Embrace your flaws as long as they don't injure others. So called ADD is something that really shouldn't require medicating

  • @silentthriller embrace your flaws???? You wouldnt say this to someone with dyslexia or autism or schizoprenia. Ignorance is what is keeping this sad disorder stigmatized. These are not "flaw" they are sympotms of a faulty brain, not functioning and keeping its sufferers from living normal functional happy lives. I love how everyone is an ADD/ADHD expert who obviously has not real education on the topic.

  • What diets are helpful in case of ADD ?

What medication can treat ADD ?

  • I was told i have ADD when i was 8, i am now 16, im kind of worried to get older, and have to deal with a job and bills and all the things adults have to go though, i think that if my ADD is as bad as it is now, that i will be very stressed as an adult and wont get anything done and fail :\

  • You wrote: "i think that if my ADD is as bad as it is now, that i will be very stressed as an adult and wont get anything done and fail :\"

I would study where that belief came from.

  • There coming up with disorders for being late to work and putting things off, thats what happens to everyone! What is this world coming to?

  • i have ADD. im not taking a pill for it. but to most ppl ADD is a crutch. as far as black korean is concerned, it helpes for me...

but with the fact that im neglecting the dishes cause in distracted by this vid... tels me that ADD&ADHD is in fact real

  • try medical marijuana it helps

  • try meditating.

control your mind, don't let it control you

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA its less of a character flaw.

yeah its not a character flaw is bad genetics :D

get that guy on some amphetamines

  • vids too long :P

  • What a load of BS.

  • I am interested in signing up for your course in psychology.

Oh, wait. You don't have one. You don't know what you are talking about. Concede the posibility that some ppl might be "built" differently than you and in order to do things effectively, that some of them may have to work harder to do things that a simple for you.

ADD exists. It doesn't mean ppl with it are space aliens. It means that to accomplish their full potentially they have to do things diff.

    Stop making stupid assumptions

  • Yeah, I DO have a "course" in psychology - It's called OPEN YOUR FRIGGIN' EYES. Stop feeding Big Pharma!

A friend of mine told me the school nurse at her kid's school told her that half the kids in the school were on Ritalin. Do you REALLY think that's warranted? If so, it looks like we have an epidemic on our hands.

ADHD is no more real than "Restless Leg Syndrome."

  • My mother was diagnosed with having an ulcer. It turned out that she had pancreatic cancer instead. Ulcers are real

The fact that its over diagnosed doesn't mean its not real,

For the record, doctors over proscribe meds for other real illnesses too; e.g, cough medication etc. Still real.

Objectively, one would have to statistically evaluate whether the Ritalin was "helping" or not.

I think prescribing drugs for it is scary but doesn't mean its not real. ;-).

  • The brain is the most amazingly complex organ, fascinating in its functions, variations, and mysteries. However, it also imposes certain limitations. One of them seems a constant in this thread, and other arguments about psychiatric disorders - there seems to be a concurrence in some people of ignorance, lack of empathy, and a desire to proudly display them both in public. Maybe one day medications will be found for that.

  • HAHAHA. I have ADHD. its a real disease, just like drinking to much or eating to much. HAHAHA

  • Some people are prone to addiction compared to others.

For the record, that is a symptom of ADD.

My dad seemed to have it too and he was hopelessly addicted to smoking and drinking (borderline alcoholic)

I stay away from smoking. My guess, if I took it up, I'd not be able to quit. Other people actually can quit the habbit.

As for driinking, I do it very moderately and stay away from it when I'm depressed.

Just because u dont have it doesn;t mean its non-existent.

  • I have seen humans kick one addiction and move to another harmful addiction. The mind is a palace, and the mind is not set in stone. Anyone can change thinking patterns and change habits, it is not easy.

My point is you cannot run a marathon without months of training, neither can you change habits over night(or with a pill).

    "There is no spoon" :-D

  • I agree.

That does not eliminate the fact that ADD/ADHD seems to be a common condition that many people have.

I never said a "pill can cure it" or that it can be used as an excuse for everything under the sun.

What I said was, the condition seems to be real. Ignorant ppl denying it with no science background doesn't help some ppl deal with it.

Admitting the conditon exists doesn't fix the method of dealing with it. If u have it, u have to deal with it. Ppl without it don't.

  • I am glad we agree.

yeah the "pill" was a general comment not directly implied to you. The video suggested the pill at the end :(. I wanted him to run a "marathon" for his mental condition, and he failed me.

If you are curious, most my previous comment was directed at your smoking comment. "I'd not be able to quit."

  • I see .

Well, my dad had most of the symptoms of ADD I have. I think mine are only slightly worse. He never could quit smoking. Apparently he tried a few times.

I thought in the video, he didn't just take the pill but also looked at improved habbits, altered diets and other stuff.

In terms of the pill, its unclear what it did for him in the video.

  • God I would hope that if anyone suspected to have it and that it has a mjor impact on your everyday life, then I would hope you would see a REAL doctor and not the quak in this video based on crayons and buttons. I would have laughed and walked out.

  • There is no such thing as ADHD. Stop wathcing the Boob Tube!

  • Oh, and the medications aren't one size fits all. If Ritalin doesn't work for you, it's not because you're not ADD, it's because you need something different. How many of you take one painkiller for a headache, and a different one for an injury? How many of you tried more than one allergy medication before you found one that helped? I know the difference between medications that work, and ones that don't from trying many. One med not working for one person does not make a medical fraud.

  • I wish there were a way to medically induce temporary ADHD symptoms, just so people who think it doesn't exist get a taste of it. If you haven't had to live with it, you have no right to claim it 's fake.

When you've got it, you're not lazy. You work harder and longer because you have to keep starting over, and because you're also doing so many other things. And if you hyperfocus, you're in a trance of hard work. It's usually not what you're supposed to be doing, either.

  • ADHD = Lazy Mother Fucker

  • Sunderh00f = douche

  • No matter what your problem is,there must be a pill for it,right?Listen,Once one places his or her self in the hands of a psycologist they are definately in enemy territory without a gun or a plan. I know a person that is getting their masters in psycology. She is completely nuts herself. Now she's going to go out and help others with their problems.God help them.

  • Well, no.

    As science exists.

You think psychologists just make sh*t up?

In my case, I've got job knock on wood, my dad did too but objhectively speaking my life might have been better if I managed some of my disorg. symptoms better. I've got every symptom except hyper-activity. I do finish things, do concentrate but headache sometimes. ;).

  • I have ADHD.I have learned to force myself to stick to jobs I don't enjoy. They get done.I have a lazer focus on things I am interested in though. My learning curve on those is quick and efficient. Seek out help from God.Psycologists are just experimenting. If they blow it,they write a paper and get occolades from their comrades. There is a God. Focus on Him. Truth and freedom are available through Him...Give it some thought.

  • I probably have it.

Jobs not interested in? Well for me no. Jobs that use my strengths? Yes. To survive, I still have to manage my natural tendencies.

  • I love how all the morons leaving comments think there is a massive conspiracy going on with drug companies. I agree that drug companies are capitalist, they're only out to make money, but that doesn't mean they conspire against the people to steal your money. How the hell can you sit there and say that people who have ADD are "just lazy" and it's all fake. Is depression fake too? How about bipolar disorder? Get over yourselves, it's real, people have it, and there is no conspiracy.

  • atheistchaos,

You're only sounding rational and reasonable because you're probably on some drug...

  • Umm, no, the rational person doesn't believe that drug companies have a giant conspiracy making up fake conditions to sell people drugs that involves doctors and scientist from all around the world who all are a part of it. That doesn't require drugs to figure out, it just takes 10 seconds of non-paranoid thinking.

  • Guess I should have added the /sarc tag.

  • ;).

  • that waz bucck*****

  • very interesting derek, i'm going to go ahead a classify this video as inappropriate, cuz... its full of shit. thanks though.

  • ADD is an ailment contrived by the giant, mulit-national Pharmacuetical companies.

The two most common drugs perscribed for "ADD" are Adderal (amphetamine) and Ritalin (methylphenidate), both addictive and dangerous.

    Do your reasearch.

    This is a propaganda piece.

Current is owned by Al Gore.

  • Comment removed

  • add is just as real as global warming, those who still think global warming is a real issue, you should prolly take add medication as well just to go do something betetr

  • you people r fuckin stupid, not add, like the guy said, add will be his excuse, for laziness. and twenty minutes infront of a screen only presenting images? if you dont get distracted on something more important, you r a fuckin moron. and the gabe dude, total fuckin munky, talks about how the medication (speed) helped him work better. dude, this is the one project you shouldve never finished. if you had any doubts, or distractions, its reality telling you something. plus the tests are bullshit.

  • this is possibly the most beautiful video ive ever seen.

    kudos

  • haha the clown. Who is going to take the clown seriously?

  • I had to take those audio and blinking lights tests... I "passed them with non add scores"... still have the problems this dude suffered from daily.. solely procrastination based bad grades did lead to depression as an otherwise "bright" individual

  • I'm still trying hard to edit a 570-page non-fiction book. It's excrutiatingly difficult to get back on track.

  • do you have trouble beating death knights. lawls

  • Thanks for your video. Awesome job!! My life is so much better having had taken the steps to understand ADD and try medication... It was not an easy fast fix, but a journey that allowed me to know who i truly am and that was a beautiful gift.

  • I procrastinate like crazy. I used to watch a movie from beginning to end (with great attention), now I can't finish a movie without more than 10 breaks. I can no longer watch the same movie twice, it's torture. I can draw pictures really well, but now i feel the impulse to stop half way during the drawing, i can't help myself. I've changed my career 6 times in my life. I'm so indecisive, i was hoping there's a disease named after it. There isn't. Do I have Adult ADHD??

  • holy shit i got adhd just watching this shit omg live your life stop making excuses

  • I have severe ADHD. All i can say is, screw the medication, you'll just have to try extra hard to remain focused.

  • i have A.D.D. very bad. i tried the medication and it did change the way i could concentrate but it had side affects that really bothered me. People who dont have A.D.D. will never understand it... simple as that... Many people with this problem are creative in other areas and find coping mechanisms do accomplish other things... some of the most successful entrepreneurs are A.D.D. and dyslexic like myself... PLEASE check out my videos...

  • You look like that guy from Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

  • ADD is real. Perhaps not a disorder persay, but that's simply the only name we have for it.

Our brains are wired differently, and I'm sure there have been many of us throughout the entire human history. The only difference is that through the infrastructure of modern society, it becomes more noticeable and more troublesome.

I refused meds because I don't want to be changed into anyone but who I was born.

I liken it to your brain changing channels, but not having control of the remote.

  • its BS laziness and procrastination that affects everyone, and I'd like to see the statistics on how many people walk in there that they turn away. Considering that people turned away are not submitting insurance claims and medication expenses monthly. *rolleyes*

Now do a video about your girlfriend. She's cute, but I can't figure out what she is. I assume some kind of whasian (white asian hybrid)?

  • lmao those tests were awesome haha

  • JAZZ IN MY PANTS

  • this whole video is obviously bullshit. the only mind blowing aspect of this video is the question "what race is his girlfriend"

it seems like a mix of vietnamese/phillipino/south korean/northeast korean/pseudo-korean/native american

  • Im reading a book call the gift of ADD and it said Nature is the medicine for ADD , nature is what will help us focus.

  • Is there a medical term for "lazy" ?

  • Pity all she can do at the end is push medication.

I'm skeptical of "experts" who whilst stating the superficial obvious and only pushing pills yet are replacing close family members and people who can speak from experience as if they (the experts) are the ones best to be relied on. Medication in the short-term at best...

Btw I think ADHD has been over-diagnosed as school discipline and a desire to cater to boys' unique needs has declined. IOW the system scape-goats those it has failed.

  • but most medication can really screw around with you. it did for me, although it helped thru most of highschool now ive stopped taking it and have learned ways to control it.

  • I personal made a test. I wanted to test doctors to see if they were all about the money. I went to the dentist, He said i had something wrong so he gave me a mouth guard and some stuff i should take. I never used either. And a few months latter he said that the products worked and if it were not for them i would be worse. Well, the new was i never used either but yet im better. All kinds of doctors just try to get the most money out of you and i hate it.

  • Thanks for sharing your story...

  • ADD or ADHD :)

  • ADD isn't a medical disorder, its a psychological disorder, I was "diagnosed" ADD when I was in 1st grade, bad grades and lack of attention, so they medicated, still had bad grades and lack of attention, I just wasn't interested. I stopped taking Adderol when I started JR high, and by high school I was a B+ average student and graduated with a 3.45 GPA. Point is, you don't need to medicate, and jumping on the drug bandwagon isn't always the best choice.

  • THESE PSYCHOLOGISTS ARE RETARDED

  • Everyone "hopes" their children have "ADD" so it's not their fault from being shitty parents.

  • "DRAW A TREE"

Not "DRAW A MOUNTAIN WITH A TREE"

Believe it or not but we create our own pain by being at the effect of your mind, its like being on auto pilot. We have our own rules and ways of being in life and if you breaker them you are usually going to be unhappy about it. Play the game you can win. Let your self
