Hey I got a quick Question. I know QR requiremnts say you need a Open Class C licence and I'm hopefully getting my P1's in 8 Months and I wondering if QR will make acceptiond if not can they make exceptions for P2's. I'm just interested in driving trains.. Either Passenger or freight it doesn't really worry me. I just love Trains =)
Your missing one thing: Drivers Ticket(obtained after tests with QR). The closest you'll get to a driver is not a driver, its the guard.(the guy in the middle who has to press bell twice).

Haha lol pretti sure a toilet isnt that xciting!! But yeah i prefer TransPerths colours.. i kinda was exaggerating when i sed disgustin, cuz these briso trains are actually pretty ok colour lol!! Mainly i HATE the doors... LOL!! i was in a picky mood haha
Rumors floating around that Auckland will be getting these trains! Hope we do, I'm a train driver there, can't wait for the electrics to start rolling in a few years time!
yeah it was awesome, I just found out tho, it was Thursday July 19... lol. It was great tho, its really bright inside. I like it alot more than the old ones
Well got on there down to the Goldy and got 161-164 back that night, apart from travelling on 161-164 on revenue service day 1 from Roma St to Bowen Hills that's it.

I took a QR IMU 162-163 train on that thursday from toowong to sherwood at around 5pm. Thats cool :D

Long Live IMU 120's. They are the ones that rock, with more luggage racks, too. That helps since a lot of tourists ride the trains.

This was my first time 2 the Gold Coast on them and u can't beat the smooth ride, they are deceptively comfortable too
