  • Ending, so random

  • what is That bottle called again?

  • Nice, thx for posting!

  • roll 4 ever

  • thats sick

  • I did this today on a 15 foot long ledge. After about 30 mins of prepping, The ledge was as good or better than a park ledge! I didnt even have to wax it! Lacquer is like skate wax on crack! Just make sure you use enough

  • @krto0n *we* (everyone who wants to)

  • there didu get the spray

  • thanks for make this video! im going to do this to all the ledges around my house!

  • ud just need a shitload of wax

  • can i do this to my front sidewalk? i mean, is it legal.. lol.

  • @lifprasir i doubt its legal, but unless there are cops going down your road 24/7 i doubt anyone is going to care

  • fru1tbooters are teh sux0rs1!! haha jk, great vid tho except for the real fruit booter at the end... i threw up in my mouf :(

  • @sk8n0mad you must really like throwing up, since this video was produced by fruitbooters...are you in fact bulimic?

  • do you have to laquer it

  • @McJames12345 no ive waxed plent of ledged without laquer and they slide perfect

  • Nicholas B****? LOL And Just-In-Case.. I get it.. Justin Case.. lol Am I stupid?

  • how much does all of it cost?

  • about $15 or $20. the brick rub is like 10-15 and the lacquer is like 5

  • @TerminallyILLprod14 you steal a brick anywhere and dont need the lacquer and use a candle in the house to wax it... total costs : 0$

  • @MrMMABoy If that works then upload a video, until then I'll remain sceptical.

  • your mega loose pants embarrase me as a skater myself, its people like you who make other believe all skater were pants taht loose and care less about the public

  • @Domirahty CALM DOWN MAN WHAT UP WITH LOOSE PANTS ???

  • @Domirahty do u wear skin tight pants, its skaters like you who make me embarassed to skate with your ball huggers on

  • whats a frekin rub brick i use a reg brick

  • i got the rub brick but i cant find the fuckin lacquer. does it have a dif name or more specific

  • where can you get that stuff?

  • what is that guy doing at 0:13 seconds???

and do you just buy a can of lacker, and do whatever that guy is doing at the start then spray it,coz that is cool not wasting your time waxing it

  • That's awesome! I'm gonna try that lol

  • will this work for skateboards jk jk i dont even own a skateboard

  • lmao lol

  • would this work on wood

  • thats sick but theres one ledge near me but you can skate it cause the caretakers chuck u out

  • dude where is that?

  • will it ruin my boards trucks?

  • nah..

  • can i jsut use a regular brick instead of a rub brick?

  • @austinkwak LOL

  • @austinkwak LOLOLOL ahhahaha

  • no its not the same material

  • well actually yes you could, it just wouldn't work as well and would probly hurt your hands bc it doesn't have a handle and it's very rough

  • yeah , i tried it, i got some cheap 1 dallars work gloves and it didnt hurt that bad

  • @fru1tbooter14

A rub brick is pretty expensive, I bought one before and the handle broke off. Just look for a cinderblock behind some building, throw a rock at it so it breaks in pieces, take reasonable sized bits of it and it will work just as well and its free.

The other night I used rocks that I found next to the ledge and it worked just as well, took longer, but still did the job.

  • @austinkwak LMAO are you serious

  • lol omfg disappointing...

  • you know how skaterts film on boards? well do bladers film on blades

  • lol yes

  • did you know scooterers film on blades

  • @estebanrivas95 fo real, dats wierd how do bikers film

  • @LILGE510 they use skateboarders to flim for bikers

  • will it work if the ledge is made of fire?

  • only if your imagination can comprehend it

  • does it hav to be a "rub brick" or can u like use sand paper and maybe make ur way threw the grades of sandpaper?

  • i guess you could do it with sandpaper, but i really wouldn't recommend it. you would run through sand paper MUCH faster than a rub brick. and a rub brick would be much more effective.

  • ooo... where do u reckon u could get a rub brick from in the uk?

  • The glue on the sand paper isnt strong enough. The sand falls right off of it.

  • im surprised a rent didn't come out and kick you out for doing that to the ledge

  • they didnt because it makes people wana buy there stuff cuz they wana be cool like the cool aggressive skaters cuz everyone knows aggressive skaters r cool =D

  • skateboarders wouldn't stand a chance doing that to a ledge like that

  • Viola?

    parler vous francais?

  • parlez vous français!!! n00b!

  • wait, wat kind of lacquer do u guys use.......acrylic, ect. ?

  • do you really need the Lacquer? can i just rub it down with the brick and use wax?

  • i do that it works

  • it slides better with the lacquer

  • you probably just need wax if you board but if you rollerblade youll need to do all 3 parts because you can never redo it and if you don't do it right the first time you'll regret it forever

  • ive done this before and its really the laquer that does the magic. Rubbing it down helps a lot too, but you can definetly get by without rubbing it down on most ledges.

  • @GPsKaT3R305 yeh thats what in sayin but im a skateboarder and wear i live i havent got 1 ledge to grind i got them to slide bu not grind

  • @GPsKaT3R305 I would imagine wax wears off quicker and is more vulnerable to the elements. I'd also guess a combination of wax ONTOP of the lacquer will just make it stupidly nice rather than one on its own.

  • wats this song

  • come on home by franz fedinand

  • whats that brick called?

  • mason rubbing brick

  • the ending was...interesting

  • thnx this is soo cool now to get some for a whole road lol but that would be troublesome for cars ;)

  • can u buy a rub brick at just like any hardware store?

  • what type of liquid and tool to make at un rocky

  • where can i buy a rub brick in canada!

  • menards

  • this is sooo helpful.

  • will this work 4 sk8boards?

  • why the fuck wouldnt it?

  • but he clearly states in all caps: YES IT WILL WORK FOR SKATEBOARDS. there i said it. i wont answer it if you are too lazy to read the description

  • last time i checked rollerbladers don't grind on their wheels.......

  • well how the fuck am i supposed to know? i dont roller blade and i dont know shit about it

  • well, maybe if you would've read the description then you wouldn't be asking questions.

  • my bad..

  • ur sposed to say no jk

  • is the internet the best place to buy them?

    and thanks for helping

  • yeah man get em at aggressivemall . com best place ont the net for skates and so many options.

  • how much are a pair of these skates i am on a skateboard atm but may get into blades please help? and wot is the best place for them?

  • depends on size but i would say around 180 -200$ the best place 2 skate would be a waxed curb 4 a starter

  • certain sites you could get them for around £50 thats aprox $100

but you need to get it from a good site or they sell ones with pvc wheels so you can't really do jumps

  • lol it comes in a can

  • does it work for skateboards

  • who cares if it works for skateboards its all about the skates, nah im messing yeah it will :).

  • sweet jumps

  • i did it today but im letting it dry and ill tell u if it worked if it doesnt ima doin it donovan strians way by getting a tube of concrete then using floor crylic

  • Dude, i dont wanna waste money buying all that stuff and then doing up a whole ledge just to make a video man. I dont even have a video camera, nor do I skate ledges regularly.

Why dont you just try it for yourself, since you want to skate ledges so bad?

I mean it makes sense doesn't it, rubbing the ledge down or putting a filling agent on it such as bondo or putty makes the ledge flat right? Coating it will make it smooth. The just wax it and skate.

  • if you dont skate ledges regularly then dont do this.

Where I live, there arent may rails, and lots of ledges, so this is a good vid for me.

I wouldnt even bother making a vid, Id just do it to skate on it.

  • actually i did it on a curb. Im afraid to do it on a bence or a ledge because they're always too many people around.

  • what does that have to do with the above comment you made before O_O.

btw, a local graffiti crew does this once in a while, go to a local store that has construction shirts, like neon orange and such. Buy those, and go to the property at night when nobody is at the place, people wont ask what your doing.

  • lol, because i said i dont skate ledges much, then you said not to do this to ledges if you dont skate them regularly. Well i actually meant to say tried this on a rough curb when i was learning my 50-50s. Now i just practice grinds on the box at the skatepark.

  • and one more thing DON'T WASTE TIME WAXING CURBS! i found this out for myself firsthand if the curb is painted like red curbs yellow curbs and stuff like that it slides no prob maybe ther'es wax in the paint or somtin but dont waste ur time and same thing with anything like parking stoppers

  • no shit retard!

  • hey man not everyone knows this RETARD!

  • next thing someone will ask "does it work for bmx?"

  • thats preety mean and how can u be that stupid to ask if it works for skating aswell?? fuck it slides it slide aye aahah

  • Good idea. If you dont wanna sand it down with a rub brick you can just buy some bondo or something and put it on the ledge to make it smooth. Then spray it with laquer.

  • that was random

  • I actually never thought of that.

  • thanks for the tips...nice skating too,

but i prefer pushing wood and wheels than fruit booting.

  • i have some questions.

    1. Were do you get the rubbing brick.

    2. Will this work on a regular street curb.

    3. Do you have to redo it after a while.

    P.S. good skateing

  • 1. any local hardware store should have them. home depot has them.

    2. most likely yes.

    3. I don't think you would have to redo it after awhile. it depends on if i gets resurfaced or not. you may have to put more wax on it but generally once you work a ledge in, it pretty much stays that way.

  • dr dre

    hahaa

  • that's pretty beast

  • they dont have the bricks at home depot =...(

well they said they've never heard of a rub brick

  • haha dude, i literally just bought a rubbing brick a half hr ago at home depot.

  • hahaha

  • so gay? but they put this up to help people and your here thinking your the shit when all you have is some fag airplane videos in your favorites? sounds like your gay one buddy

  • fuck u, they just helped us to grind any ledges, US = Bladers n Skateboarders so just shut up faggot

  • then why did you spend your precious time to watch my video and comment on it?

  • get over it fags i searched fag ass fruit booters and this came up! you guys are obviously fucking posers and and are lame if you guys dont know how to skate a fucking ledge. dumb ass dick sneezes

  • so you're saying you were searching for gay guys?

  • LMAO

  • hahahaha DCWHITE123 GOT RAPED!!!!! idc what kind of skaters u are as long as this fucking works thanks for the tutorial man!!!!

  • butteeeeeeeeeryyyyyyyy

  • thats the idea... did you watch the video?

  • where is this in chicago?

  • i went to home depot and asked for instant drying clear lacquer and he said theres no such thing so i told him people use it to grind ledges and he called me a liar and said i was wasting his time and he said kids now aday have no respect so i called him an asshole and left... would they have it at a local tool shop you think

  • find an ace hardware. friendliest people work there and they have em there

  • yo cant you just use a regular brick to rub it down nd lyke alot of wax lol???

  • but this takes like a minute and works 100 times better. You don't sound like you've waxed too many ledges.

  • oh dam thats awsome im about to go to home depot and buy that stuff

  • if you tried to do this on a ledge in public you will be arrested. lol

  • depends on where it is and who cares about what you are trying to skate.

  • I haven't checked but im sure you can find most, if not all of it there.

  • thanks man this will be so usefull i no of so many ledges that are like perfect but just dont slide

  • i heard u have to be 18 to buy the lacquer

  • i dont wanna b tht guy but im not sure if thats legal

  • wait so u sand it first? with sand paper

  • does it work for skateboard too?

    xD

  • Do u have to use the lacquer? I mean cant u just rub brick it then wax it?? Just curious

  • people will use only wax on ledges, so of course you could just do the rub and wax..

the acrylic lacquer is just gonna give it a solid seal and further reduce friction. 5 stars though, I can't imagine a better way to make a skateable ledge

  • yah i neeed to try this. this is pimpin'

  • have to try this man.. thanks

  • hahaha 2:17

  • whats the song??

  • lacquer...$5-$10 pretty much

and then wax thats it though

the rub brick is actually $15 or around there and it lasts a while

  • can u get all this stuff at home depo?

  • if you can get it ace I'm pretty sure you can get it at home depo
