Is multiculturalism not contradictory to integration of cultural minorities into European societies? Some European countries are very traditional; Is it not a good idea to develop an international government with them further?

I would like to know why exactly strengthening bonds with European Union is a bad idea for Britain. Is it not logical to support and engage in promotion of common European values? It must at some point become evident that the Judeo-Christian democratic values will not be preserved in a multicultural strategy.

Still, sadly, even academic circles tend to be inspired by self-flagellation. This was especially evident in the 30s at Oxbridge recruitment of Communist spies like Kim Philby and others. Your own people have wanted to subvert your country, let alone Islamists.

The fault must lie in illiteracy. I have been a victim of it to some extent myself. You can absorb some of the cultural heritage from mass media and popular arts if youre receptive enough but to refer to this broader problem of the clash of civilisations one definitely needs some historical background.
