when I talked to guthrie at namm he said all the solo parts on the album were improvised. He said that's why you'll never hear the same version twice and also why he hasn't really considered releasing tabs.

haha as painfully wrong as that is i agree i love the original it is as a peice a perfect guitar song from start to end......but guthrie isnt a machine and what the hell kind of player would ever want to play the exact same thing live as recorded ....what would be the point for people watching it live aswell ? they might have just as well stayed at home stuck the cd on loudly.
