I dont think its real common with the diesel guys yet, but tons of gassers use it. My trucks tuned with it, supposebly there are alot more things you can do with it vs. efi live.

I run hp tuner on mt 04 lb7, Ive worked with efi live as well, they are very similar in what they do. I find that hp tuner is alittle bit more user friendly but with all the ppl that make and sell tunes for efi live theyre pretty compareable

efi live alot of people love ive never mest with it to many people righting programs with not enough testing and im no computer genies. ive tried all different stacks quad, banks,edge, ect. but all never go back from the ppe and the mp8! this is the 2 duramax that ive ran that stack and its great! besides the tire bill!

the mp8 just gives more fuel and boost no timing they work grate together! mp8 is a hundred hp module but you get about 50hp extra at the wheels stacked with ppe. i love it plus its in cab adjustable. i also have a edge juice that i use just for gauges and the smoke show every once in a while with all 3 on high its just solid black smoke but you cant run the edge and the ppe to gather forever to much timing you could turn the timing off of the ppe but its not a good stack.

1. does the mp8 and the PPE=2 stack make alot of smoke at take off??

Mp 8 is just a pressure box is all. Its like a PPE Duramaximizer... Its raises the pressure in the rail. Thats how you can stack a PPE cuz thats timing and fuel, maximizer is rail pressure. Thats how some people run 3 boxes on their stuff

i have a 09 dmax. how come u used ppe stacked wit the mp8? i sold my 04 cummins and i stacked smarty wit banks but thats because smarty had jus fuel tunes. The extra timing doesnt effect the truck wit 2 chips, and is this better than efi live? thanks
