I own a C63 and had a STi before that (stge 2)

Both great cars for different reasons.

Sti= easy to mod, fun to drive, street cred, beast on SHORT track, awd fun in the summer and rain but does come off as a bit of a "teen car".

C63AMG= prestigeous, monster power, Great sound, great on the strip, great on the highway, fun to slide, comfortable and did I mention PUSSY MAGNET cause you come off as a RICH guy as opposed to, well a teenager...

Sti won plain n simple c63 is too heavy off the mark but by the time it catches up the race is over . On city streets sti would win but on a highway the c63 would win in the long run but both cars are awesome driving either car is nice.

you have to understand that these two cars are in different classes. With a STI you're buying a car based on performance verses an AMG you're buying luxury with peformance. There is nothing luxurious about an oversized spoiler. There's a reason why the c63 cost 24,000 more than an STI and performance is not the only accommodations when purchasing a AMG

@Nguvocity I have an STI and a C63. The STI is a sick car, lots of fun. But NOT a car you wanna take your woman out in and NOT a car you want to pull up to work in. Otherwise its fun to drive and pulls like crazy. The C63 however completely owns the STI stock for stock and will even eat up a moderately worked STI with a simple tune. I love my STI but even if it cost $2,000 I wouldnt take it over the C63.

thats $24,302 that you could spend on the STi to match or beat the C63.

@taylortayler you should know you can't compare cars like that ZR1 100K enzo 2 million. Stock vs Stock Zr1 handles better and pulls harder yet you have 1.9 million to spend on ZR1. Does this make sense it doesn't does it

When you buy a Mercedes-Benz that has been ///AMG tuned, you buy a luxurious monster, not a modded track teeny bopper.

my bro has one of these (c63 + performance package) doesn't change my mind bout getting an STI though, if they still look nice when i'm full licensed, possibly lower chances of losing my license :D and also I like fiddling with car audio and performance stuff so merc's not the best car for it. I've driven it around the block, it's fricken fast i'm nothing of a great driver, but you turn the wheel and floor the pedal, you drift/skid pretty damn easily it feels awesome!!!

European cars are always slower when it comes to acceleration but tend to be faster when it hit higher speeds... i think it's all due to the weight of it's vehicle... but well!!! that amg is a beast!!!

Its funny how most impreza owners seem to think they are invinsible. I mean subaru and AMG are in a different league. Subaru is shoddy built car round a good engine, AMG is, well, German built with a beast of a lump! Get a real driver in the merc and then see what happens!

@domimichiels the mercs 6.2 liter is actualy tuned down man. the normal mercedes 6.3liter engine makes around 550 hp and 570lbs or torque.
