I never got into this camera.I have no idea why. maybe it's the loading issue. kinda clunky loading...AND you have to shoot the whole roll of film before switching out stock.
it does have a great snap to the images and handles slide film amazingly well, but the lens choices feel so limited.
I use a 6x7 and totally agree with everything you said (especially about using it as a weapon!) I also use a mamiya 7 and often I prefer the pentax. excellent review.

Kiev 60C, Kiev 60TTL, Pentacon, Praktica and Exakta all had similar SLRs that shoot medium format.
