The set of eyes on the right was definitely another deer, but the odd object on the right could have been anything. I've had bugs fly too close to my camera before that looked somewhat like that.

My theory, and i'm not calling whoever shot this a liar, but I think the two lights on the far right, behind the branches, is a car on some road in the background. As you can see, the anomaly occurs exactly as the "car" appears to turn and the object seems very fluid and similar to the car turning. Just my two cents, could be a ghost, who knows?

I don't want to break your hearts or anything. But there's a car passing by on the right, you can clearly make out the headlights, most likely casting light through the trees and possibly fog/dust. That would also account for what the deer is looking at, an absence of sound on the video, is hiding the vehicle even better, which the deer would definitely hear and most likely glance at. Cool video though.

not necessarily, if it were to be out of range of the camera, then smaller things (such as the legs) might disspear. these cameras emitt a cartain light (infrared i think) and capture with the camera lens what the ir light bounces off of, if there is a certain amount of watts going to the ir led's, then the camera will only be able to capture a small area of landscape, but if there are more watts to the ir led's, then it will be able to capture more area (farther away from camera and brighter)

I too like the breath theory. Certainly the most plausible solution.

However, the first couple of seconds are the most telling of this entire video.

If you pause it just right in the beginning, the deer's head is clearly looking down, yet the "apparition" appears to be several feet behind the deer. (possible product of poor compression quality)

Also, the deer appears to react to whatever this apparition may be by very quickly turning it's head.
