Yeah hail can be a mongerel. One week after I fitted the first prototype SunFoil on my roofrack it went thru a hailstorm , not quite golfball sized. The Sunfoil was okies (Yay Team !), the Swimming pool's Ultraviolet cover was shredded ; and the Soundtrack beats machine-gunfire. Tin roof from which to film under .
