This is why I hate America, especially the people. The only reason, ONLY REASON, we aren't taxing the rich is because, due to conservative propaganda, the poor people have been convinced that someday, SOMEDAY, they can be a billionaire or whatever. Well guess what, jackass, you won't be. You may rise to 100,000, or so, maybe millionaire, but not that rich. People like that are generational wealthy, they inherit it. So raise the upper tax bracket AND the inheritance tax.
mm, submarines, my dream is to have a mini submarine, with that thing that allows you to look over water, imagine sneaking around underwater in a river, spying on people, look at fish, awesome.
Honestly as some one who grew up in a working class envirement I respect the rich, but it depends on the person. When I was 12 I had a friend who was rich and yet he hated me when we disagreed on $10 dollers. I wanted to share it evenly, he wanted to just sit there and sell his products.... But other then the constantly snotty paranoid rich people, MOST! are humble nice people. Oh and FYI I ont see any of you giving most your income to the homeless
First, I'd like to say we did not invade Iraq because they had submarines. That being said, if you can afford to buy all that stuff, I really don't see what's wrong with it. These guys must have wealth envy. If you're ever rich and making millions of dollars every year, feel free to give it away to me if you don't want it.
Now, I usually like their shows, but I have to disagree with the principles behind this little talk. Of course someone with millions of dollars is going to find a way to make more money the next year than the last year. They obviously have some sort of talent or ability to make money. I don't get what's wrong about it. I also don't get what's wrong with spending money you earned the way you want to spend it. If I had millions to throw around, and I wanted that pen, I'd buy the damn pen.
Do a web search for the source article titled "Welcome To Richistan" if you want to read more about this topic. It's quite clear that "trickle down economics" does NOT work and anyone arguing otherwise is denying the facts on the issue.
some people just are too rich. Most of these millionaires technically do not need to work another day in their lives, but with their horrible spending habits, it just doesn't work out that way.
I second that. look, it doesn't take a lot to understand that basically the whole money of the world represent the wealth of the whole world and that some people accumulate so much wealth that they contribute to hunger, pain, and death. It's like some sort of economic morbid obesity.

A good many are powered by their own egos, or at least the need to feed their egos.
