  • Stocktone 209

  • Fabulous!

  • I believe I have the original cut of this record. It is made of medal, and has two holes, one small hole in the middle and one off to the side. Does anyone know?

  • One of the best doo-wop songs EVER.

  • very nice artwork too!

  • now am hungry .

  • lmao

  • Thanks for this playlist. Lots of great music

  • This is the OG Lowrider version, the Skip & Flip one is the preppy version para los hueros.

  • gueros not hueros

  • hueros/gueros, varrio/barrio, chicano/paisa. Thats the difference.

  • bone le ese

  • For a long time, I've been trying to find out who made this wonder old version of 'Cherry Pie' and now I know. Thanks for putting it on YouTube!

  • LOVELY!

  • Lil Rob sampeled this rola for his barely gettin by rola.

  • he didnt sample it he just did a lil remake

  • It was Skip and Flip. Not Don and Juan.

  • wow the person below me is pretty dumb

    im SO neat Qq

  • I seem to recall a version by Don and Dewey (flip side of Jungle Hop) aroundd 1957????????

  • Love this song....Been looking for this. Thanks for posting.

  • i thing that in one think we all agri is cherry pies are good and aples to. thank 's to all

  • Correction:

the 1958 Cherry Pie was a rerelease of the 1954 Marvin & Johnny (Dean) original.

  • The original Cherry Pie was by Marvin (Phillips) & Johnny (Dean) in 1954. A later Cherry Pie was by Marvin & (Emory) Johnny (Perry) in 1958. I don't know why Don & Juan was mentioned in connection with this song. Don & Juan didn't form until 1962, after leaving the Genies.

  • this is the version George Carlin sang

  • i like the 3 dots on the cherry

  • jamming in tejas 2

  • thank you reyesm13 for the DON AND JUAN RENDITION!!!!

  • Anyone got M&J's Tick Tock or their Butterball?

  • If you like M&J's Cherry Pie, you'll love their Tick Tock and Butterball. Does anyone out there have those two??

  • Thanks so much....I love "Tick Tock"...great song!!

    Southie231

  • DON AND JUAN WERE THE ORIGINAL cherry pie song

i like the skip and flip rendition better

  • fgonzalezcuba2008 Skip and Flip version just as cheesy as Pat Boone's Tooty Fruity.

  • Love this west coast doo wop!

  • Does anyone know of the song with the words "Look in my eyes and tell me you love me, look in my eyes and tell me you want me or I'll be gone, gone gone? I can not remember who sang this? Thank you!!

  • the song is "Look in my eyes" and it is by the Chantels

  • Thank you so much for helping me!

  • they sing "Maybe" also.

  • The Chantels "Look In My Eyes"

  • A Classic!! Flip the original 45 RPM vinyl over and you have another classic, "Tick Tock". Thank you M&J.

  • This is the best version, Better than Skip and Flip, More Soulful.

  • Now this was some serious young butt rocking music back in the day.

  • thats tight

  • Firme song homie u did a good job..

  • Gosh, I LOOOVE this song! Classic 1954 male duo West Coast R&B harmony. Marvin & Johnny actually scored a double sided R&B chart item, as the "A" side was "Tick Tock", which also made the national R&B charts. I have a 45 on the Modern label that has both these songs on it.

  • FIRME ROLA VKKR13

  • 1954 west coast doo wop at its best!!!

  • @nightrain49 El Monte Legion Stadium Art Laboe and Chuck Higgins playing Pachuco Hop. Nice.

  • this rola always reminds me of 18 with a bullet
