@ElectronicAvalange What a waste of money. Just buy a better damn video card. You don't need to buy a new pre-built piece of shit, just customize your own.
If anyone wants a copy of my autoexec . cfg file, just IM me about it and I'll send you a copy. Just put it into a Notepad document and name it autoexec, then put it in your game's "cfg" folder. For example, for TF2 it would be steamapps/*username*/Team Fortress 2/tf/cfg. After doing that, check the console for errors and delete all the lines that it calls "Unknown commands".
If you want your Source Engine games to look REALLY good, you should consider using an autoexec . cfg file. You'll find a lot of different sites telling you what to put in it and where to put it, etc. if you Google "host_thread_mode 2 //Forces on multithreading. Defaults to 0".
I'm bored so fun fact time, I beat this game in one go in 4 hours on my first try. One of the best games I've ever played. I had loads of time so I decided to go all the way.
What's the point of showing your specs when you just used source recorder to record this? You could of had a shit graphics card (the 9400 isn't so great as is though) and still had the same result using the source recorder.
Because it's easier, and also because I have a driver that distorts sound when it's being recorded, I'm getting a better sound card, I'll probably use FRAPS, next time to prove it.
9400 GT isn't really that bad considering I can run Fallout 3 on Ultra HIgh, and Crysis on High. I made a video about it but I got hacked and the guy deleted.
Bullshit. There's no way that card can run Crysis on high. It's roughly got the power of an 8500, just with newer technology present in it. Could the 8500 run Crysis on high (when overclocked like yours is)? No, it couldn't. Medium at best, and even then you'd be pushing it.
No actually I can, on the Native resolution of my TV aswell. Mines not overclocked either, of course my processor has a hand in it. No matter what you say I know it to be true and I don't care what you say. Well actually one thing was on Medium and that is shader quality. But that hardly makes any difference at all. Still don't believe me? Okay it doesn't really bother me. You'll be wrong and I wont.
Valve do great jobs with their games, it's really strange that they so low an audience. I mean 15 million people on Steam, it's alot but there is like 400 million on PSN and XBL (though there shouldnt be :/).
Half Life has one of the best stories in a game every. It has made games an art form. Also I want Ep 3 aswell, especially because of the rumors about the portal gun :D
