i got cod 5 pc last week and decided not to download "punkbuster" but i can still play online. besides whats so great about everyone downloading punkbuster if its all screwed up and bans you for no reason?

yeap u need to download it because with out it u cannot play online but ur game is original u can try downloit but that only if u gonna play online tho

ok im finding out (lol i really screwed up on this) that i just hadn't extracted or turned on punkbuster at all. so after messing around for a bit, i finally came to the exact same screen you had gotten to, and insted of me having PnkBstrB.exe I had PnkBstrA.exe. anyway you know how i can update? i downloaded pbsetup and it said i have the latest version for cod 5 and all i want to do is be able to play zombiex on multi... not get into this punkbuster mess. any suggestions would help.

Which problem u have is u have pnkbstrb.exe problem i know how to solve tha shit u just need to re-install punkbuster
