Um yeah i have this phone but as im putting on songs im either downloading OR actually going out buying the fucking cd, it still comes up something like Error timeout. Hi

The programs on the CD are crap - uninstall them except the one for the USB driver, and set your phone to mass storage device, then just drag the music files in windows to the phone.

Message to LG .. are u listening ? the software for the cookie sucks .. and gimme a viewty smart to test out for ya !

yh im choosin between a few includin those 2. The main difference is not much, except the secret has a 5mp camera compared to Cookies 3mp, and the secret is also a slider. Cookie is more competitively prices generally speaking, and i think it has a more compelling and fun interface. Im a fone fone guy, i dont really mind the extras, so between those 2, the cookie gets the thumbs up.

You're after a walkman? Try taking a look at either the w580i (my favourite), the w910i or the new w595.

The 580i is out-dated now slightly (2007 model) but i've never had a single problem with it and it's fully equipped with walkman 2.0 (we're now on 3.0 which is slightly glitchy) and comes with the fantastic sony ericsson headphones if you buy it brand new.

The 910i has a habit of freezing a lot because of it's in-built crash sensor (that turns the phone off when you drop it) going wrong.

the way i did it, was bluetooth a track to my phone via wireless comp. then wanted more, so i used the USB from the computer, giving you a list of what you want to do on your phone, select the secound option and there you have it :)

it should give you two usb drive opened, one for your phone and the other the memory card :) hope it helps

Yes, you can look at pics while music is playing .. but the Cookie doesn't have a standard earphone socket - they go through the LG propriety socket on the side sadly

I'm getting to like this phone actually .. apart from the sucky software that came with it for my pc .. might email LG about that but wont expect too much of a reply ZzzzZZZzzz !

Its a good phone for what I do .. although have to warn you all - the software that comes with it sucks big time - I can't get it to run on any of my pcs .. total crap, so just set the phone to be a mass storage device and swap files around in Windows Explorer - too bad LG for giving us sucky software with such a good phone ...
