The fence is a conservational nigthmare as far as wildlife is concerned. Not only will inbreeding result from it, but possible extinction from various species could occur. Nature is not adapted to coping with 1,000 mile fence cutting through the land. There has to be another reasonable solution, & I will NOT support such a desecration of the land fo a gilded solution, & a political ploy.

We have a population of ocelots here in south texas many of which live in the laguna atascosa wildlife reserve. I dont know if the population is sustainable now that they are building a wall. I imagine there will be a lot of inbreeding as a result.
