In spite of the name, "herman", your "cow" is a she, not a he, right? Because otherwise, s/he would not be a cow, but a bull (or a steer if castrated)? All in all, you've got one confused animal there. Can't you get her/him a cow pal? He's trying so hard to be one of the group and not feel left out!
