You look fabulous. Complication-wise, though, something to watch out for: You really need to concentrate on keeping the nutrition up. My wife had GBS and got to a similar stage, without the cosmetic, and ebded up with severe neuropathy. Like had to learn to walk again, intravenous nutrition type deal. Please watch for the symptoms of constant nausea, and leg weakness. I damn near lost her because of it.
Amelia. I have been watching your videos for quite sometime now and you have inspired me to get gastric bypass. I am just so frightened to go through with it because they say 1 in 200 will die.
That is true, but it is more likely for those who are in poor health, are the heavier people. i don't know your situation but I was ok with the odds for me because I was pretty healthy besides being big. It is a factor in deciding and your doc will tell you what your level of risk is
You look wonderful. I'm 6 months post op and have lost 85 pounds. I feel great. I think I look great. But best of all my Diabetes is gone. No more insulin or diabetic pills. This was the best decision that I have ever made. Keep posting.
I am curious... did you have to pay for your surgery? The one u just had to have due to complications? I didn't know if insurance would pay for it or not. Hope they did for ur sake!!! Hope you had a blast at Prom!

This past week a newsperson called Senator McCain's Daughter "Plus Sized" as an attack and i was watching the View today and she said she is a size 8.. I'm a size 8 and I am SO not plus sized... this world is nuts

The recent emergency surgery was done by Dr Miliken.. he SAVED my life! The gastric bypass was done in Atlanta by Dr Daly, who if he was nearby I would have been pleased to have done this surgery. Both are very skilled and excellent
You look great! So glad you're doing so well. haha since you did kind of have bypass surgery all over again don't be surprised if you lose weight. Like I mean don't worry about it. You're 5'8 so you can afford getting down to like 140 or 130. I mean it wouldn't be dangerously low or anything. Good luck with the recovery. :)

You look great. I hope you had fun at prom. Did they give you a binder to wear? When I had my surgery open, my surgeon recommended the binder b/c he said it reduces the risk for a hernia.
Glad for an update, was worried about you. If I have to be honest Id say you looked healthy as can be at 170. At 155 you are still beautiful but get through this, you dont want to look Fragile lol. Good luck on a fast recovery!!!!

You look fantastic! So glad you're recovering so well. Are you going to be able to go to the PA M&G? Love that dress! Girl, you're so tiny! My surgeon told me this week to NOT do any exercise that would raise my heart rate so that I won't lose anymore weight. So take it easy and don't do too much!
