The M1530 was much too expensive when it first came out. Now you can easily get one for around $250 on eBay. They are excellent computers for that price range. I just can't imagine paying around $2,000 for a new one -- even back in 2008.

Dell is fine and all but they overprice their products. A friend of mine bought the m1530. His costed almost $2,000. Then one of his friends told him about IBUYPOWER. He looked at IBUYPOWER laptops and found one for almost the exact same price but it was more powerful. It's graphics card was an nvidia 9800m gt to top it off. Needless to say, he was very pissed when he found this out. So I got an IBUYPOWER laptop and it works perfectly.

Yeah, that is a really good deal on a m1530. My IBUYPOWER laptop costed $1149 after shipping and tax. Mine only has a 160GB hard drive and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor @ 2.26ghz. But it does have 4GB of RAM and an Nvidia 9600m GT graphics card. I know a bigger hard drive would be nice but I can always get an external hard drive if I really need more.

Yes the 8600M GT can run COD4 with very good fps at a high resolution like (1400x900), crysis is at a good fps too, like about 35-40 at a little lower resolution, but great gaming laptop, although some destops are better at gaming but im not a hard core gamer so it is a portable laptop that i can game whenever i want to..

i LOOOOOVE it. its beautifull to look at, it runs like a dream, its solid, but not too heavy, its got a great battery life (but i got the 9 cell and by the looks of it you only have the 6)

i like it alot, if you get the LED monitor display there is absolutely NO grainy on it so dont worry about that if you get LED, LED saves battery while makes the screen brighter. I would REALLY recommend this laptop

It is because the L2 cache on a 2.4 is only 3MB, the cache on the 2.5 is 6MB, which is double, and the cache on a 2.6 is still 6MB, so no much difference..

That's a beautiful laptop. I think I'm getting one tomorrow from Ebay. It will cost me about $1,150 with shipping plus a 3 year guarantee with everything incl. theft, spills & drops, nights and weekends tech support. The only difference between yours and the one I'm getting is that the screen resolution is LCD WUXGA 1920X1200 (1080P) resolution , video card is 128 mb Nvidia 8400M gs w/ HDMI port plus the Harddrive is 320gb. Let me know if its a good deal. That's by far the best one I've found.

That is a very high resolution screen, i didnt get that because it wasnt a LED screen and it will be WAY to small for you to see anything, 1680x1050 is the best resolution but if you want the Full HD then go for it..

The only reason you would get the M1530 instead of the M1330 is because of the graphics card, the 128MB Nvidia 8400M GS is very crappy compared to the 256MB 8600M GT, that is if you are planning on so gaming, if not, then i would say it is a good deal and go for it..

Why Did u Get 4 gigs Of Ram And A 32 Bit OS?,A 32 bit os can only register up to 3 gigs of ram so you've got 1 gig and a bit of ram that ur computer isnt using at all.
