yeah i switched to evans. theyre way better everything they have just makes more sense, like the info for their drumheads the names are smart like g2 and g1, you can tell that the head is a double or single ply right from the name, whereas with remo you have to look it up ambassador or diplomat. i just dont like remo
@switchheelfront360 oh sorry i actually like my drums to have tone while the heads wont break or pull in like 2 weeks or less. remos can sometimes be okay but its the crimplock that makes the head sound really inconsistent and will allow the head to pull from the rim
@switchheelfront360 always happenes to me.. like they sound good at first but they detune fast for me and yeah the break and rip. plus for marching (i play tenors) ive broken about 7 heads over 2 years on tenors so idk whats up with that haha. it feels good to break them though haha!
