when you say 'i didn't wash them, i conditioned them', do you mean you just used water and conditioner?because ive been wearing my extensions like 6 times now and im sooo scared since i'll be about to wash them for the first time. at the extensions center where i got them trimmed they told me there is a special (ridiculously expensive) conditioner for remy hair but i didnt buy it because obviously they wanted to make money. do you use a regular conditioner that works well with your natural hair?

@wrappedwithlove87 Yes I only use water and conditioner on them most of the time. I like to use a deep conditioner I am using one by l'oreal right now that I love its small but since i only use it for my extensions it lasts a long time. it comes in a jar...i forget what it's called at the moment. it is pretty expensive like 26 dollars but just normal conditioners don't do the job as well in my opinion.

Good job. I just wondered, why do you wrap the hair around the iron rather than grabbing the hair with the iron and winding it up? does it do something different or is this how you prefer to handle it? thanks.

@pamheil it gives a totally different curl! If you start the curl from the bottom and work your way up you just get curls at the bottom, this way the curl is along the whole shaft!

@MinWooLee I rarely use any product in my hair especially hairspray. I usually wash my hair with L'Oreal Professionnel Paris expert series absolut repair repairing mask for very damaged hair (its a conditioner, every two or three washes is the only time I use shampoo) and i leave my hair to dry with moroccan oil. I rarely will use anything else on my extensions!! :)
