  • Clean ass truck..sounds sweet too..

  • sounds mean man, beautiful truck those rims are sweet what are they?

  • Ah nothing like the older trucks

    Nice truck

  • very nice!!

  • i think any bigger then a 4 inch lift should have the wide tires , i got a 6 on my all original 75 and i wish i would have got 10 inch wide rims

  • ouu i noticed they make a similar "baja" 15x10 or 16x10 rim is the extra thickness worth it??? or do you think i should get the same as you and keep the 8 inches wide? thanks for the help by the way

  • No problem and your welcome. It's been my belief that skinny tires are better in mud than fat ones. Thats just my opinion, I'm sure you would get people from both sides telling your their thoughts. It's all in the look you are going for.

  • what kinda rims cuz i like the thickness for the tires....lol what size tires tooo i want to hook my 97 grand cherokee laredo up with ones just like this

  • They are 15" x 8" American Racing's "Mohave" wheels. The tires are 32". Right now I am out of the country until July so I can't get you the exact size of the tire.

  • Those tires look awfully small for 32 inch, I have 265/70/R16's on 16 inch rims on my 72' and they look the same size, maybe its just me haha, Nice truck.

  • It must be you, lol. They are 32" BF Goodrich Mud terrain's

  • Yeah but your truck looks like it sits no higher then my 72? I'd have to see it in person to determine that, must be the 15 inch rims that are throwing me off

  • It's a stock height 4X4. Could be the rims, I'll post the exact tire size when I get back to the states in July.

  • Sounds good

  • damn nice man i got a 72 c/10 2wd i been working on for about 3 years put the motor together and done the bodywork my self just got motor and trans back in it about 3 weeks ago and got it n primer 350 with elder rpm heads and intake with a 750 holley carb 60 over flat top pistons 292 comp cam .490 .490 lift roller rockers and a pete jackson gear drive accell fireing system i love your truck tho looks like you drive it every day

  • Thanks, it is my daily driver. Sounds like yours is going to be a good running truck. These are fun trucks to have and drive.

  • Very nice truck I've owned 3 well 5 diff. chevy truck that body style. I had a 69 1/2 ton GMC turned into a chevy, a 68 3/4 ton chevy, a 72 Custom/10 chevy, a 3/4 ton 71 GMC I have right now, and a 67 C/10 short bed chevy I have right now also. I love these trucks so much. Very nice truck thou man I haven't had one that nice yet, but plan to restore the 67 short bed this spring and summer well driving it.

  • Thanks, They are fun trucks and parts can be had easy. This truck needs alot of body work to be perfect. It's my daily driver and will have to wait it's turn behind my other 2 projects.

  • did you put those 3 point seat belts in?i have a '71 but with lap belts and i don't feel real safe

  • Yes I did, I can't remember who I got them from but they are available from many of the parts suppliers. They are a great addition to have.

  • wow great looking truck..sounds great

did you build the motor yourself? i love the tires on it

  • Thanks, no the motor is a 330 h.p. crate motor. Tires are BF Goodrich Mud Terrains.

  • awesome pickup nice color she got some rust in er though thats a good solid soundin motor

  • What untouched east coast truck doesn't have rust in it. It is on my list of rebuilds after my other '71 truck & '70 Z28 Camaro projects.

  • I hope you don't mind me asking.

But where did you get that engine, or is it the original?

Sounds fun, even though the audio mucks it up over the computer.

  • It's a GM Per. Parts crate motor. 350 H.O. Delux with 330 h.p. It is a fun truck to drive.

  • straight back from the headers to muffler then out? true duals?

  • Yes, from the headers to 2 individual mufflers and strait out the back. Tru dual exhaust.

  • flowmaster super 44 ?

  • Yes they are super 44's.

  • shes a beauty

  • Thanks. It's a fun truck to play with.

  • hey dude. that is one gorgeous old chevy. my granddaddy had a 1970 model 4x4, same color and everything. it wasnt in that good of shape though. he was going to give it to me as my 16th birthday present, but sadly he got hit by a drunk driver one night and it killed him. just want to say that seeing your truck brings back great memories and a tear to my eye!!

  • It now has a bigger air cleaner and new Demon 650 on it. What an improvement.

  • how much for it

  • "NOT FOR SALE"

  • SOUNDS NICE!!! I have that same crate motor in my SS Monte. I hope it sounds just like this when we get her in and fired up. Wish you had more footage. Warren

  • It should sound great. It's all in how the pipes are done.

  • I Like that engine! Used to have the same one in a 72 Chevy even had the same Flowmaster exaust system...

  • They are good running motors. I had it in a 2 wheel drive first. It was very quick.

  • that is really nice chevy

  • thats something you almost dont want to get full of mud but its worth a try

  • I'll take it in the woods when I go hunting but haven't had it in the mud..........YET!

  • This is one of the best looking 71 Chevy's I have ever seen.

  • Thanks.

  • sounds real good

  • My neighbor uses me for an alarm clock when I leave the house at 6:00am

  • SWEET TRUCK.......

  • beautiful truck man!

  • hey im not really a chevy guy but thats pretty nice.

  • Thanks Dustin. The motor is a GM perf. Parts 350 c.i. 330 h.p. crate motor. Truck runs real strong.

  • It's a 2 1/2" system.

  • Great exhaust note. AWESOME! Are those 2.5 or 3"?
