  • They are actually Airfix BR Mk2d coaches. The coaches still run on the line but the Pullman is no longer on my railway

  • that midland pullman looks nice with the mk3 stock,

  • that track must of taken you ages to make

  • Not really. the basic structure was completed in about 4 weeks.

  • it must of taken you ages to biuld that track

  • I see you have 1938 Underground Stock. Is this motorised? If so, where can I purchase these from?

  • It is motorised yes.. it is an EFE model (Exclusive First Editions) Try googling the word metromodels and you will see where you can obtain them.

  • The trains look so real. The music is delightful! I know someone named Julie.

  • awsome, allways wanted a garden layout , just got me a little h/o in the garage ,but its fun . thanks ,great vid.

  • Sice this video was made I sold off the two blue power cars and have since managed to obtain a full 6 car one in the reverse Grey blue colours. The unit features in my last video of 2007 which was posted a couple of weeks ago. The whole thing cost me about £120 in all and I have since converted it to DCC running.

  • Very nice video spoilt by horrible music - would much prefer the sound of the railway

  • don't u have any problems with, it being outside/>

  • It's called.. ludicrous prices on eBay for Pullman centre cars! Watch though.... because I intend to adapt some Mk2 coaches to match. Hope you enjoyed the vid. Was Taken in January. The garden loos quite different now we are in June

  • Terrible choice of team - even though you were the first to beat us at Emirates - but a fantastic layout. I have a railway like this in my dreams. Your 50 + mk2s rake really looks the real thing. Must be great fun.

  • Good choice of team! brilliant video 5 star for that! I enjoyed it alot!

  • Hi.. Thanks - Its currently a DC layout, I did have a dabble into DCC in the garden, but decided to keep the DCC indoors. :D

  • Good Man!

    COME on you Hammers!

Great Video there. looking foward to the summer to!

  • Taw Vale looks a good railway mate.. plenty of variety in the trains too Is it DCC?

  • Okay

  • Why are you using intercity coaches with the Blue Pullman? Nothing wrong with it, just curious.

  • I have nothing else to use unfortunately, and I wanted to give the motor bogie a test which I had just restored. Centre coaches are hard to come by and reach silly prices on eBay. I will probably go for the new Hornby ones when they are released even though they are not strictly the right coaches.

  • its a major pity none of the blue pullmans we're preserved, my brother works for fm rail, and i think that they should of repainted two class 43 's to go with the mk 2's

  • I'm (unfortunately) old enough to remember the Blue Pullmans and yes I agree it was a waste not to preserve even just one power car.I don't think the livery would have suited a 125 power car though.. in my view the best livery for those is the one they were born with in 1976

  • i know an amazing site actually, type into google: fictitous liveries. its absolutly amazing.

  • Thanks for that I have actually seen that website it is very interesting.. especially the pendolino in SWT livery!!
