This movie is about men, men doing the right thing in defending the defenseless, some of my favorite actors were in this movie, I have it here and watch it sometimes. God, I miss movies like this, Bryner, Bronson, Coburn, McQueen, Vaughn, Fuller and so many superior actors, I long for the days when you could take the whole family to movies such as this on Friday nights at the drive-in. One of the best, not to mention the brilliant musical mind of Elmer Bernstein- simply marvelous.

Hello to all movie fans young and old This is one of the best westerns ever made outstanding acting great music that should have won the oscar that year but didnt for some unknown reason we will never know greatest movie score ever put on the big screen and the Top actors at the time you couldnt find 7 men today to do what they did in this movie for what pay they recieved

@Corndogman2 I am not a bigot, and my response IS NOT RACIST , but, the film score that won the OSCAR in 1960 was for "EXODUS". I believe the large numbers of Jewish voting members of The Academy chose "Exodus" for sympathetic reasons. It is only natural. Also, it was a good score. Mind, I am of the belief that Elmer may do no wrong. Heck, he even did my fave film: "Animal House". regards.
