@krazyzark That's not about that. She didn't really wanted to kill Fredrick but she had to get rid of him, if he'd stayed with her, sooner or later he would find out about what she's planning and she couldn't risk it. so she decided to shoot him, but after she got back to the projector and watched him on the screen she suddenly felt sorry for him, then she heard him moaning in pain so she bent over him and then he shot her three times. She knew he was still alive when she got near him
@rottenapples111 That may answer why she had a pistol in the first place. Even if she didn't had any intent of actually shooting somebody, she may had planned to shoot herself with the gun before the flames consumed the place to avoid the agony of dying in a fire.
Man, I keep finding all these little bits of details each time I restudy the storyline.
@rottenapples111 That's why she gave that french guy such a long kiss because that was the last time they were gonna see each other..they planned on dieing with the Cinema.
What I love about Tarantino movies, is that lately, he's been giving understanding to each character: good or bad. Like this German for example. You can understand him. That's why I felt sad when he died:
All he wanted was a bit of recognition from Shoshana.
@kaijinu Hes just trying get the message across that good people die aswell, its too cliche to have all the good guys kill the bad guys without any casualties.
this is one of the few movies I liked more the second and third times i saw it than the first. I gave it like a B+ the first time i saw it. But this has to be up there as one of the best movies ever made. and I'm not a huge Tarantino fan.
It's so tragic that they're both were killed, she shots him and he shots her. Of curse, i feel much worse for Shoshana, considering i'm a jewish and he fights againt them, and considering Shoshana had the toughest life, being a jew during the holocaust, not to menton her family were killed.
@the2009guy I didn't say they were, or at least i didn't mean that, it was just a joke, as in this is the closest thing to a romance between a jew and a nazi :3, and it was a pretty bad one XD
Because you guys are all huge pussy?

If I got shot and this song started playing while I was falling, and I was dead before I hit the ground .... It would not have been a wasted life

She would have died regardless. Considering, she was about to burn down the entire cinema.
