The way they kill him (in a lame episode) and the way of bringing him back (as a clone that turns into recurring character) is worst then death in a epic and clever ways.
But then they do this again in a 100 times more horrible ways with Dr Weir. So Carson is not the worst of the worst.

Star-Gate seems to have only two themes: 1. Kill Daniel at every possible opportunity as long as he comes back within a year. 2. If you feel like killing someone off for dramatic effect make sure it's always the doctor.
