Hey Panda, I wish I had money to donate, I have 3 shar pei (one looks a lot like Rufus, only she's colored like a rottweiler) and all 3 had to have that same surgery. They all got sad and grumpy with the cone and not being able to run properly or eat properly on their own. They all turned out ok, though, so I'm pretty sure Rufus will bounce back in no time =)

Poor Rufus, such a cute dog, reminds me like my old dog, she had glaucoma and we were too late with it but we were lucky we were able to keep her eye. Sadly we had to let her go at the ripe age of 14.

Been watching your videos quite a while now (I think the first one was when you started doing WoW ups) but never really bothered to say anything and such but now I feel like doing something. My uncle has also three shar-pei and they are damn awesome dogs. What I wanted to tell you is as you know it is quite common for shar-pei to have the same surgery and even my uncle had to make the same surgery and the dog came just fine in a less than month. Oh and first time ever on internet donated 20€ =]

When i was 14 my retina de attached in my left eye. I had to have 4 operations over almost a year and eventually went blind because of it. Having this experience i can say it is not fun and i feel really bad for rufus. I will defiantly be donating to the Rufus foundation because i know how painful it is and how expensive surgery like this cost (im sure its less for a dog, but still!)
