The East Broad top was the first train I ever rode (I was 4 years old at the time), and have ridden it many times since... I was there last weekend, but couldn't get my girlfriend's butt out of bed in time to ride the train, so we had to settle for riding their 1920-something Fairmont speeder on the Robertsdale branch... I'll post the video soon... I really like this RR, and am planning on modeling the M-7 Diesel in LEGO (Ln3, lol).
@HikaroTakayama Thats really neat! Last time i was at Robertsdale the yard was just de-treed and started putting some ties here and there. Must make a trip back there soon! and My buddy models the Reading Railroad in LEGO's, they have made a T-1, G-2sa, P7 4-4-2 Atlantic and a Reading Ramble train. Its realy neat and best of luck with your M-7:D Pictures one day?
I rode the EBT about 22 yrs ago and loved every minute of it. Planning to take my son there. Does it still leave you off at the picnic area or did they extend the line? There was more track to go beyond the picnic area if I remember correctly
Beautiful country there, and I love those shots in the woods with long looks at the engine coming. To bad those shots show the wacky tracks the most noticable. Any faster they would wobble right off the narrow
east broad top has a ton of old rail cars just sitting in the woods and going to waste... such a shame...

from 2.46 that has to be the worse track i have ever seen and i am amazed that the train dident derail side ways shocking

American locomotives are fully equalized so they tend to stay on track, hence the saying.

Wonderful video - you really captured the atmosphere of the place. I'd love to visit the EBT myself sometime.
What's with the guy flying by on the ATV at 2:46 ?
