New words don't distort the the culture or the history, it is merely a part of our Nez Perce history and culture...especially for how modern things are today and all the new things we have...there will always be new words...that's just what happens, things evolve, things change.
Religion is a poison to the people. Christianity has only damaged the true spirituality of the Native peoples. So much was lost in our people with the adaptation of christianity. Much of which is not likely to ever be recovered.
@1spiritualalchemy1 And that damned word GODKI, is a made up word, that is not, and was never an actual word in the true Nee-Mee-Poo language. New words being added like that not only distorts the culture, and the essence of the language. But it distorts the history, and understanding the same.

I am a decendant of the san poil. Tenas tali pus. these were the pine of the grass people. but now we share the ground.
i am a great grandson of a memory. however I know who i am today.
