Could someone tell me in English who is singing this song or a cd I could find it on? No disrespect meant, I just don't read Greek well enough to tell if the artist is listed, and I am in love with this song.
at the begining she says " yavrum kucuk" means " my baby is little"... nenni nenni büyüttüğüm, elma verip ___( the one i grow up.the one who i gave apple and ___ (i dont understand which turkish word she using :((
In Cappadocia babies were usually distracted with turkish nursery rhymes. But lullabies were frequently sung in greek, or in both languages as in this example. As soon as the baby fell asleep, mummy or granny used to bless it with the sign of the cross.
Eξαιρετικό!

Ποιός μπορεί να έβαλε αρνητική ψήφο σε ένα τέτοιο διαμάντι της Ελληνικής παράδοσης;;;;;

Πραγματικά υπέροχη η Λυδία Κονιόρδου σε ότι και αν κάνει.
