in the natives cultures, the oldest man are the shief of tribes because their wisdom, I like a lot this pictures of this men, in their wrinkles you can see the wisdom and in her rough faces, beautiful, in our society the old people has any options and nobody cares for them, is a shame.

my friends, this chick has the same kind of voice that one friend of mine, her name is Anna Rosa Rodriguez, she is not indian or native person at all, but she sing in a venezuelan native group, Tapuruina, this is world music, is beautiful and belong to the whole world, this is not a trade mark, is the future music, I recomend Loreena Mckenitt, Yanni,Deep Forest, Tapuruina, and the 7starband, search for Canto Piaroa at You Tube, music has not borders.

It is uncanny that so much of her music reflects native American tribal music from the first moment I heard her (with Garbarek doing brother eagle) There's another example...who would sing of Brother Eagle? Native Americans....I marvel at seeing this "scientific evidence link" . Love her.

There is scientific evidence linking the Sami tribe to various Native American tribes. Apparently, the Sami people (orginally from present day Finland) crossed over the Bering Strait and settled in North America. The cultures of both peoples are very similar. Beautiful music.

@lilymarfly Your'e right they probably wandered and settled down in Canada and North America. Today most of the Sami people in Scandinavia lives in Norway, then Sweden , then Finland and the Kola peninsula in Sibiria. Most of the Native peoples have a similar religion and way of living, respecting Mother Earth and the Great Spirit. As the Lakota say: We are all related, "mitakuye oyasin".
