  • i love it. very nice movie.

  • What made Maggie start crying while Mitch was telling her what he missed about them being together?

  • @cupcake101 Because he had admit to her that he missed her and that his life was incomlete without here and in a way, she missed him too.

  • I'm just a sucker for romantic scenes. It makes me imagine of me and my boyfriend. Just wishing there be a romantic moment between me and him, Just like in the movies.

  • thank you so much. my ten year old daughter and i watched this. It was lovely and

very , very thoughtful of you to upload this. thank you.

  • omg, Maureen O'hara OVERACTS BIG TIME

  • @Cineramicfilms I know, isn't it great! LOL That's what makes it a classic! There is one thing I never understood though...why is it ALWAYS SO LONG!!! haha 3:19

  • @1089aef too many elocution lessons. EV-ER-Y word has to be PRO-NUNC-IA-ED and stressed. Notice every time says "Mitch". She says Mit-CHA

  • Thanks so much. I really liked the movie.

  • happy ending ... if only real life had that :)

love the movie thank u for uploading

  • The kitchen scene has to be one of the most romantic moments in film. I wish it just ended on the kiss, because the "dream" sequence is a bit hokey. Still, this was a joy to watch again. It's been a while and it's always nice to return to it. Thanks for uploading. :)

  • I love Maureen O' Hara. She is such a beautiful lady and actress

  • The US Marine Corps credits Maureen O'Hara for their successful recruitment drive in 1942 for her role in "To The Shores of Tripoli".

  • Dear lovejoecartwright01, most appreciative of your kind consideration and efforts for this clear upload. Derived much pleasure and nostalgia of bygone era of eloquent vocabulary, natural beauty and acting. Now for Pollyanna. Thank you very, very much. From Malacca, Malaysia. 28/12/2011.

  • The actress, Joanna Barnes, who played Vicky should look familar if you saw "Auntie Mame" she played Gloria Upson. "I just can't TELL what a pleasure it is to make your acquaintence."

  • Maureen O'Hara. I miss the really glamorous stars like her. She stayed beautiful for long time.

  • Lindsay Lohan was cute in the newer version, but this will always be the classic for me.

  • Great movie. I hadn't seen it in years! I have thoroughly enjoyed it! Thanks for posting!! Disney at its best and Disney the way I remember...

  • I miss movies like these! So heartfelt :)

  • Thank you so much for uploading this! I haven't seen this film in a long long time...

  • Dang, i wish real life was like this. that way divorce isn't so high, sheesh. My parents are divorced as well, i don't want them back together but other people i heard of should be

  • This is the sweetest movie and Maggie and Mitch are perfect together.

  • Ppl who think this is not funny is wrong bc u have to find the sarcasm in this movie the remake was funny yea but I love the other one the original bc Maggie is sarcastic And she sabotages it's really funny(:

  • "Mitch.. you've got stew all over you" hilarious! ;-)

  • Why isn't there a 4:46 ? :D

  • 1999 i born

  • Love the movie. Love the dress Maggie had on in the kitchen scene. The color blocked blue dress and the her red hair worked so perfectly together. Good costume designing and styling.

  • out of both features this one is the best

  • out of features this one is the best

  • anyone else catch the mom wearing a wedding ring? :D

  • @blackwerx Agreed, the Willy Wonka remake was terrible! I don't mind the remake of this one as much, but it's definitely not as good.

  • @buqwik I love this movie and it made me sad to think about brian keith gone and only 3 living still. MO is so beautiful.

  • 18 April, 2011. Happy 65th Birthday Hayley Mills!! It's our "Medicare Birthday" I am 16 days older thd Hayley Mills and had a crush on her since I took my mother see Pollyanna in 1960 for Mother's Day and and Parent Trap in 1961 shortly after my dad passed.

The only people still alive from this film are Hayley Mills, Maureen O'Hara (90) and Johanna Barnes.

  • This was my favorite part of the film this and when Mitch sees Maggie again for the first time in years! I've watched this when I was a child before the 1998 version and it still remains my favorite of the two! Maureen O'Hara a living legend and one of the last shining stars left of the best era of cinema!

  • oh that kiss is one of the most romantic in film history!

  • Haven't laughed and cried so much in years. This one gets to me at all levels. Thanks for sharing.

  • BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!! I'M AN IDENTICAL TWIN AND MY TWIN SISTER AND I TRIED GETTING OUR PARANTS BACK TOGETHER OUR WHOLE LIVES...SIMILIAR TRICKS TOO

  • princebuddy08: It's Disney!!! Remember the theme song of Disneyland. "When you wish upon a star--- your dreams come true" So Susan's dream came true!!

So there was another happy ending in Disneyland :>{D

  • Well why couldn't they have gotten remarried they already had the priest and wedding set up, I always took her dream as a sort of premonition afterall she did say she wasy psychic and they use things like that in movies all the time, it's called forshadowing

  • what i like better about lindsay lohans version is that the parents remarriage really happened, but in this version it was only a dream that one of the twins were having and sharon and maggie are still returning to boston leaving susan and mitch in cali

  • @SneauxMan08 I am not sure where you get that conclusion but it couldn't be from this movie, Mitch and Maggy made up in the end and the dream Sharon had kind of hinted that she was having a premonition, since she says earlier that she was sort of psychic, then you had the words "bless our broken home" changed to "bless our happy home"

  • @sadsamisback the bless our broken home to bless our happy home was true and i dont think sharons really phychic or had premonition. i know that mitch and maggie made up, but that doesnt mean that there really getting remarried. the remarriage was a dream and sharon and maggie are still returning to boston as originally planned so theyre both remaining single parents.

  • "We're gonna grow up into a couple of old lonely people if we don't do something" Gosh Mitch just loves her sooo much. We just don't have romantic movies like this anymore...

  • @cda345 That told the audience they were going to get married. I liked the way they ended this film.

  • this movie just gets better!

  • what say the song of the end??

  • Way better than the 1998 re-make of it!!!!

  • One of the best movies from the 60s. Truly a Disney classic!

  • I LOVE this movie too, a true Disney Classic. Forget the remake with lohan, nothing compares to the great Disney Classics. Wish I were living back then. Everything seemed so wonderful in the world. Thanks for sharing this timeless classic. GOD BLESS. Allie Vetere Revere, Mass

  • I just LOVE this movie!! I haven't seen this in years. Thanks for uploading it.

  • thank you :)

  • 3:38 is hilarious :D Everything else was sooooooooooo Romantic and sweet :)

  • Maureen O'Hara and Brian Keith costarred again the next year in the western, "The Deadly Companions". They certainly had great chemistry. Not long before Keith's death O'Hara and the film's late director, David Swift, visited him is his home. That's very nice to think of.

  • the music makes it more and more classicerrr

  • I loved this movie in the sixties and I love it now. Thanks for sharing it with us!!
