  • I used to work for an "Enviromental Clean up" crew and we had a simmilar train wreck in a field involving 75 tanker cars with jet fuel. Took months to clean and dig up the soil. This looks much worse.

  • oh god is that blood.... 0:39

  • @Wolfiedastonerr - Probably hydraulic fluid and/or coolant from the engines, not blood...

  • @Wolfiedastonerr Looks more like engine fluid.

  • @Wolfiedastonerr Diesel fuel..it's red,because it is dyed..exempt from road taxes.

  • @zj360666 You are correct. We had a Tanker Truck carrying a load of Diesel crash a year or so ago here. The diesel leaked out and turned the creek a bright red like in the video above.

  • @Wolfiedastonerr Do you really think a body or two could tint a moving river of that size with it's blood? What happened to intelligence? It's so rare today.

It's fuel and hydraulic fluid Edison.

  • Super 8!

  • random comment

  • @pixamite1..........dude i hope the fbi is watching you you crazy ass fuck

  • @rocawjayz6fd20012 you are not too bright are you?? Obviously he never murdered anyone, probably hit a car with his train...

  • I almost thought that this was the Columbia River Gorge between Oregon and Washington states. Woww

  • This isn't Cheyenne, WY. This happened on the boarder of the Wind River Indian Reservation, just South of Thermopolis, WY.

  • Awwww damnit who put the rock there

  • I can't believe some of the stupid comments posted about this accident! I'm an engineer with one of the nations largest railroads and have be railroading 17 years. As for railfans I like the smart safe one's that use good safe judgement. Others like of the young smart ass dumb ones are a danger to themselves and our safe operation! And trespassing on railroad property is illegal and just plain stupid, it just dosen't workout. I was involved in a double fatality 6 months ago. Not Fun!!!

  • @Ac1DGoD you disgust me, and I hope Karma bites you in the ass...you sound like you have experience trying to derail trains..if I ever see some punk like you fucking around near tracks im working on,ill make sure you "accidently fall" until the police arrive

  • @zj360666 take your wrong assumptions & cram em up yer fucken ass bozo. Just cuz I have knowledge doesn't suddenly make me responsible for everything that happened involving it. O, so it's disgusting to de rail a train but perfectly fine to make someone "accidently fall" that you assume is causing trouble while being wrong in the assumption? Prevent your assumed bad by doing worse? What an idiot accidently is spelled accidentally. I can see you didn't even learn the basics in school.

  • @Ac1DGoD Maybe you didn't ever try and de-rail a train(my bad,got caught up in the heat of the moment)..I work in the industry, and derailments happen here and there , you must understand, being an obvious smart individual..derailments can often result in injury or death.,I don't think i would actually hurt someone, but If I saw someone deliberately going about trying to derail a train i might be pretty mad. Thanks for hitting me below the belt on the spelling thing BTW,very classy.

  • @Ac1DGoD Also I want to know how you would react, when someone tries to sabotage your work area...and keep in mind they are trying to cause people to be hurt or killed.

  • @zj360666 in all the variables involved by the dependance of the circumstance presented before me by which the numbers of compelling in my actions outcomes vary greatly in the action I decided upon. EXAMPLE; If I saw someone locking & loading automatic firearms not in police or any uniform- I would go inside & tell AP. If I saw someone dumping a huge gasoline tank all over a wooden structure & then pull a match- It would then depend on how close to them im standing- even more division

  • @Ac1DGoD You sound lot like a terrorist.

  • @brickulater in a sense, in the way I think= I actually am. But not through actions I did but rather others carrying out actions I suggested to people who were telling me about something someone did that REALLY pissed em off. So many people have come to me with scenarios of rage & I tell em something they could do & from what I have seen they do it more then half the time! at least 20 times people have done dualistic things that came from my head- whos fault is it more, them or me?

  • @brickulater No, he sounds like someone with little understanding of physics.

  • @Ac1DGoD.....you are an idiot. If you dispute this and decide to reply, you are confirming you are a huge idiot. The viewers of Youtube await your confirmation....

  • @Egoguitar1 Yea that's it, everyone's intensely waiting on the edge of their seats in suspense waiting 2 C if I reply. Sorry 2 keep U waiting 2 C what I say people. Because I know they just care so much about what I have 2 say & im the only reason people even come 2 this page, im the main attraction holding up the show because someone (you) calls me an idiot with no logical reason behind yer statement. How old R U, 10? jump right into name calling, OK, well- U have, kodeys?

  • @Egoguitar1 yea that's it...everyone's suspensefully waiting on the edge of their seat for me to reply to someone who thinks people who know things are idiots, that must be it. Sorry to hold up the show people- I won't take that long to reply again. Because every visitor to this page revolves around waiting to see what I say...that must be it....

  • @Ac1DGoD...thanks for your confirmation.

  • @Egoguitar1 in the truest possible sense a person could possibly mean something = yer welcome

  • @Ac1DGoD You're retarded if you think that would work

  • @fyadcorp yea me & the 5 people who liked the comment must all be retarded. Either that or you don't even know what retarded means & your brain can't handle envisioning a scheme with so many details in it, lose you at the part where there's a "3" being used to refer to 2 different things in the same sentence. A RETARD WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO TYPE WORDS ON A KEYPAD DUMBFUCK- try understanding the definition of the words you use before spoutin shit off there; Shit Cluckster!

  • @Ac1DGoD My mistake, I see that you suffer from severe autism.

  • @fyadcorp dam right your mistake, & I don't suffer shit, = another of your mistakes

  • @Ac1DGoD Cram it, sperglord. Chains can't derail trains.

  • @fyadcorp none of the 1s you can carry anyway...

  • @Ac1DGoD Did you write that one by yourself?

  • @fyadcorp no, I had a different person for every letter write it.

  • @Ac1DGoD Who cares br0

  • @fyadcorp I figured you do, since you asked...

  • @Ac1DGoD It's a declarative statement fyi

  • @fyadcorp & a literal answer...fly

  • @Ac1DGoD great post looking forward to more

  • @fyadcorp always time for more! never time for none.

  • @Ac1DGoD chains can't derail trains

  • @fyadcorp you must not know how big chains get, im not talkin about something used to hold up a swing on a playground. Ya know chains range in size from that to anchoring a cruise ship. I love to burst your bubble, but just 1 chain LINK, just 1 link could de rail a train, so don't give me this shit about chains not being able to de rail trains. Not only can they, but their the best tool for the job.

  • @Ac1DGoD No, they really can't (well not reliably), anything can be a fluke once and that's the premise of your argument which you can't back up with evidence of course

  • @fyadcorp yes, actually they can reliably. That's why I added all the details in my original excerpt, I know people who have done it. Yea it can be a fluke if ya do it wrong, granted there are important details to make it happen correctly (that's why I added em). But if you dont think it's possible; if ya got a doubble 0 gauge or bigger chain made of tunkston or better steel, take it out & put it on the tracks with the details I gave & film it not working & prove me wrong lol!

  • @Ac1DGoD No the burden of proof is on you, that's why I said you can't back yourself up

  • @pixamite1 U were in crash how'd that happen? What train company do u work for?

  • @pixamite1 Sorry to hear about the fatalities...has always been something I have been scared of on the job(MOW)..even though I can stop alot faster than a train..still coming around a blind curve in a regulator, even with half range of vision rule applied, still never know if someone is just going to come out on to the tracks...And I agree with the railfan comment..I respect the smart ones(most I have come accross) but theres alot of dummies apparently,as youtube is full of them.Be safe

  • I wish I could record with a potato like this.

  • Will 101 page dumb asssss

  • the police planted the trap!

  • freight trains are no longer tanks on rails hahahaha

  • A woman was driving it.

  • i but he choked on his doughnut....

  • Boulder!!??!!! Must be in Colorado ;-)

  • @catalinaumbert Boulder!? I hardly knew her!

  • He's dead...

  • reminded me of a thomas the tank engine episode

  • rock paper train, rock beats train.....

  • Man, That is one big mess to clean up! They would have been out there for hours cleaning up the oil!

  • Super 8's footage is better XD

  • That train must have been drinking and fallen over.

  • TO CORRECT WERE THIS CRASH HAPPENED IT WAS IN Thermopolis Wyoming in the wind river canyon. I remember that day because i drove through the canyon an hour after it happened. 6000 gallons of diesel spilt creating one EPA mess.

  • It's just easier to take your camera-phone to a Mets game.

  • As jamie from mythbusters would say...Whoops!

  • hiya and get hot with me

  • 0:21 (train) BUT I DONT WANNA TAKE A BATH IN THE DIRTY RIVER!!! (cliff and boulder) TOO BAD!!! 0:27 NOOOOOOO...GLUG GLUG GLUG...

  • @trainbrain13 But...? oild is good for the skin ! ;-b

  • WOW SHIT

  • Asshole...

  • thats not a train its a grey blob moving around....

  • whats the red crap in the water?'

  • @kacy234 Diesel fuel.

  • From the pic at 0:15 looks like the engineer took a hard left to avoid that rock! XD

And at 0:35 the acid water is washing the paint right off the cart. lol

  • The Boulder won the fight.

    Train = 0  Boulder = 1

  • 0:35 THE TRAIN! IT BLEEEEDS!

  • @NationalCrafter If it bleeds we can kill it.

  • "TRAAIIINN"

    " 'NOTHER TRAIINNN!"

  • chuk nois cud fixed tht on ryte han

  • This derailment was an INSIDE JOB :D

  • @JohnMuise I agree look closely at the vector in which the train takes after it leaves the tracks. This is physically impossible unless of course the government planted a penny on the tracks!

please don't ask if that comment was serious. please I know this is youtube but there are a few smart people on here that like to have a laugh at the ignorant masses. Not you johnmuse i thought your comment was funny i was just adding to it

  • Fucking banana peel

  • hihi I'm a crazy American girl

  • 0:34 It's weird seeing actual locomotives laying on their side like that. For me, all I see are my H.O. scale trains from when I was a kid, laying on their sides after I made them go too damn fast around a corner.

  • Bloody hell, american rail infrastructure is not just slow and poor, its dangerous aswell! You dont even have any high speed trains and you still manage to kill many in train crashes...In europe we have 200mph + trains and no one ever is killed on them!

  • @will101page in erope you have hardley any mountains and barely run any freight trains +this bnsf which is not american infustrucre its private and no one was killed

  • @will101page I know Europe has fine trains & fast, but dont u think ur tempting fate when you say: "...no one is ever killed on them!" Sounds like famous last words to me.

  • @will101page once again someone who has no idea what they are talking about spouts off at the mouth. When western Europe begins to run the tonnage we do in North America (US, Canada and Mexico) then you can start comparing operations. And you need to do a bit of research on rail deaths in Europe. Your "no one ever" is completely wrong.

  • @will101page Railroads are poor, eh?

  • @Shirehorse148 Yes, american railroads are absolutely shit. Slow, poor quality, non extensive, and are always crashing...compared to Europe, where we have high speed trains (which you dont have) connecting everywhere and we have virtually no accidents.

  • @will101page I've railroaded in both continents. Yes, in general Western European trains are faster, taxpayer supported and do a good job hauling people with limited tonnage. Railroads in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and other large countries are generally not taxpayer supported, haul far more tonnage over far greater distances. Rather than calling those large country railroads "shit", why not salute them for successfully providing a far different service.

  • @will101page Keep in mind that intercity rail isn't as feasible because most large US cities are very far apart. Its much more convenient to use airlines. Don't get me wrong, I definitely support the installation and use of high speed rail in the US. In fact, there is a high speed rail corridor being built in the densely populated Northeast US, but the old rails have to be upgraded, which will take time and money.

  • @will101page Your a dipshit.

  • @88junor: You're a dipshit.

  • @will101page we have high speed dumbass

  • Now play nice children!

  • OMG

  • Look at the pretty red and black oils in the water! Any fish caught in this river don't require any added oils for cooking or frying. Now that's a money AND time saver, folks. mmh mmh Good!

  • @spinbaba The red would most likely be Diesel fuel, not Oil.

  • @spinbaba Lol i think the costs for the train kind of make up for that. And the people that like sushi probably don't like it anymore.

  • @spinbaba The state of california has determined that these fish may cause cancer..... lol

  • Wow! Imagine the police officer's surprised look when he saw that!

  • All I can say is, all them cars wrecked, but only two landed in the water. Boy, was the crew lucky....

  • Derailment problem

  • Shouldnt have hired Chinese to bult the reailroads..........

  • false exit man

  • Who left that penny on the track?!

  • @Swinger2006 u ya CUMM BUCKET

    (white stuff)

  • Good, I hate BNSF!!!!!

  • @Nathanrailfan

    wow.....

  • @Nathanrailfan It is railfans who post comments like this that convince individuals who work in the industry to dislike most of you. I hate BNSF? How old are you? 14?

  • @Boss302fan Like you give a fuck about what I just said? American people don't give a fuck about anything. As of being 14, I wish but not going to happen. Most railroad companies have hated railfans for years. Old news! Why do you think they're having railroad police or police escorting you off the property when you have done nothing wrong? Trains today are not worth shit to railfan anymore anyway. You don't have much shit left to railfan considering all the great roads are fallen flags.

  • @Nathanrailfan Your first sentence is dead on. it's true railroaders do not care about what you write. However, I and most others are normally tolerant of railfans. Buta few railfans such as yourself are either dangerously stupid trespassers or spend all their time criticizing what we do. All the great roads are "fallen flags"? Another reason to want you gone. The railroad industry today hauls amazing tonnage safely, efficiently and profitably. And you guys still criticize. Sad

  • @AMikeOneLine, the rails and wheels are way different. Roller coasters have wheels not only on top of the rail, but below and on the sides too.

  • How come roller coaster rides dont come off there rails yet trains do?

  • @gregboyds When I said we I meant the entire human race and last time I checked those guys over in Afghanistan are just as human as we are.

  • @SamHain1031666 That is not pathetic. You can clearly see the boulder on the rails. What's pathetic is that we can put a man on the moon and robots on Mars but we can't figure out a way to get along without war.

  • @Mr41432 It is debatable that a man has been put on the moon by the US ever! Many people say it didn't happen. It happened on film only, just to impress Russia and the world. I believed it too. Now I don't. Good film it was! Why travel to the moon anyway? First things first. Feed the hungry, look after the sick, disabled and destitute people, produce organic food, clean water, quality products that can be repaired, alternative energy, etc., etc. Peace!

  • @starsbydaylight Idiots can debate anything that doesn't make their concerns valid. Man did land on the moon.

  • @ArchNME I agree about debating etc. If at all a few men in a rocket did land on the moon, indeed who knows, the dubious motivation for carrying out this costly mission remains unethical against the background of people starving wherever. Is it to be applauded that some scientists make daredevils who can not be sure of returning alive, mount a billions dollar rocket to fly the moon for reasons that certainly are of no benefit to human kind? Most scientists don't care about stopping wars. Peace!

  • @starsbydaylight Not "who knows" it's a fact, it happened, the entire world witnessed it and not simply based on videos released by the US goverment. You think the Russians couldn't track radio signals?

Also, you could make that argument about starving people for anything. I mean how could you so unethically spend your money on this computer when people are starving. It's of no benefit to human kind, blah, blah, blah...

  • @ArchNME You see, nowadays most people in the West anyway, don't believe a word anymore of what any government says it will do for 'the good of the people', too many bad decisions based on blatant lies have been/are made by all of them with horrendous effects. Therefore I have come to doubt the claim that man did land on the moon. If it did happen then it remains a waste of a huge amount of hard earned tax payers money. I can see no benefit of this moon landing for the people. Ciao!

  • @starsbydaylight Surely you're not so gullible in this day and age as to still believe the old conspiracy theory that we did not land on the moon. C'mon. LOL.

  • @Boss302fan Regarding all governments world wide and their statements, I don't know what to believe. I feel utterly fooled by them. I think their dishonesty is much much worse than I could ever imagine. Even though it might be true that man landed on the Moon, I simply have to doubt it because I can't verify the pro and contra proofs. Greetings!

  • @starsbydaylight You can always doubt a government. But tens of thousands of individuals worked on this project over the years. It happened far too many times to fake and fool that many people. There are many, many things to doubt. But to doubt this one is just plain silly. Take care.

  • @Boss302fan Because of I saying on this page 'the moon landing was a hoax', and ArchNME and you saying 'it happened for real', I had to read up about it all. The landings look real, yes. What can I say, better I don't make such hoax statements unless I am certain! Lesson learned! Thanks to both of you and very best wishes!

  • Too bad he doesnt zoom in on the "made in china" sign on the train..

  • @Draagseom that train is completely made in the USA.

  • where this derailment took place and what area? That's a cool place to eat lunch.

  • The "cop" was actually a state trooper. He was driving through the wind river canyon and spotted a boulder on the tracks. He was attempting to call the railway dispatcher to have the train stopped. Several people lost their lives in this video. several hundred gallons of diesel spilled into the river.

  • @whitebirdq Sorry, it was in hot springs county Wyoming. Between Shoshoni and Thermopolis.

  • The train looks like it got its head in the shitter

  • Arnt we a pathetic species, we cant even make vehicles attached to a rail go the right way

  • @SamHain1031666 What we can't do is keep rocks where we left them. I-40 near Asheville NC has been closed many times due to rockslides, sometimes for months on end. If only we could annul gravity, at least in specific locations.

  • @SamHain1031666 *please not massive boulder on tracks*

  • @SamHain1031666 yet we can send a remote controlled robotic rovers to mars. Thank God it wasnt a passenger train..

  • @SamHain1031666 Your comment made my pathetic day

  • @SamHain1031666 Damn nature, you scary

  • @SamHain1031666 i know dogs and cats trains never have any problems

  • @SamHain1031666 how the fk are we pathetic, idiot, accidents happen, dumb shit, how many trains travel safely everyday? like i said accidents happen and you are one!

  • @fkobama1 Every other response i got to that messge knew i was being sarcastic, they knew it was just an excuse for a joke, i guess you got kicked out of the gene pool

  • @SamHain1031666 Boulder took it off the rails. He did not say large rock he said Boulder. Its more of a act of god then our inability as a species to do anything.

  • @SamHain1031666 how about you try keeping boulders off of every train track that goes through a rocky canyon

  • @SamHain1031666 We are a great species. We build vehicles that can carry thousands of tons of food safely and efficiently over thousands of miles so that hungry people can eat.

  • @SamHain1031666 That statement originates from a misunderstanding, so it's difficult to comment.

  • @SamHain1031666 so much to be teh "sapiens sapiens" ,right? we wouldnt deserve not even being listed under "primates"

  • @SamHain1031666 Well I'd like to see the other species attempt to make a railway system.

  • @johnFP1966 Yeah yeah yeah i know, we're an incredible species, dude i was just kidding, it was an attempt at humor

  • @SamHain1031666 especially considering we are heading on a path of which we will destroy ourselves

  • @SamHain1031666 Well, not really. In terms of species, we are pretty much the top one. Just the fact we INVENTED transportation is pretty unique, no? Or maybe the fact we got a conscience and abstract thought, and that we can discuss it over the internet. We are the most awesome animal. Also, we invented optic fibre and travelled to outside of our planet. (I say we but only a few did all that is relevant, obviously)

  • @SamHain1031666 wasent our fault.boulder fell from the hillside.

  • For all those who think im lying back off because my birthday is may 15 this collision happened on my birthday :P i wasnt there but i saw it on the news and i was like WTH may 15 is my birthday

  • @Firestar431 Why would the officers Camera say it was may 12th if it happened on the 15th?

  • @whitebirdq the video was posted may 15???

  • @Firestar431 ooohhhhhhhh

  • haha police thought he would hide away from the city during his shift, in the most quiet and secluded area he could find to make his job easier. Then this shit happens.

  • So did the cop give the engineer a breath test?

  • @Eng8492 Give the Engineer a breath test because a boulder fell on the tracks? Did you not read the description? Always someone's fault right? Unreal people these days. Always passing judgement before learning the facts.

  • @bub0808 Relax and dont be a moron. It was a joke. Anyhow the NTSB checked the engineers blood no matter who or what caused the accident.

  • It's okay everybody! It was just a Fake Bonnet and two dash-9's

  • this is ghost train this is 50 yeas old the real is!

  • I bet that cop was like "Awww, SHIT!!"
