Man, kick ass bro. That was awsome of you when you said, ' I accept to be their scapegoat ' I've been in that position before. It's tough though, very tough. As a Christian, I gotta say God Bless all the way man. Carrying the burdens of others, and forgiving the people that wrongly accused of you doing. Glad everything worked out for you though. =)
people need to upload more clips like this. I prefer funnier stuff myself, check out dolphinhump. lostfrog . com , I laughed so hard I got kicked out of class! haha.
It's really too bad that you got dragged into this, but I'm glad you took this situation in stride and turned it around. I hope nothing else like this happens to you again, or any of us other Asians.
I can understand you have a phobia, but phobias are not things to live with; they are things that need to be overcome. You owe it to yourself to try get past it.
Mr. Chaing is a shining example of the true meaning of gun ownership. Polite, well spoken, refined. We need more people like him in this world. Good show, Sir!
Wow, I'm just speechless. How are these people threatening this guy who's being mistaken for Cho, when Cho's dead. It just stupid. Do people ignore details?
Awesome collection :) I'm an EBR guy myself and hang around ARFcom and THR too much. Now we need to help the owner of the gun shop that legally followed all local, state, and federal laws in selling a firearm to the real killer. He is being threatened with death and harm, and his website is down temporarily. He is another scapegoat people want to blame because someone happened to abuse a product he sold following all laws. Maybe we should sue Ford for drunk drivers and ReMax for meth houses!
if concealed weapons permits would allow carriers to keep a firearm with them on campus, i too agree the outcome monday would've ended in a lesser tragedy.
Are you afraid of everyone around you? You have some silly fears. Are you afraid of being stabbed? What about getting knocked out with a baseball bat, where you are then tied up and tossed into a river where you slowly drown. Are you afraid of that happening too? Heck, if the vast majority of people weren't inherently good people, civil order would never take place. I suggest you take the time and understand why your fears are based in a world of fiction.
I understand the logic of what you're saying. But then again, I still think there's the potential for accidents. Whether or not most people are good or not idiots I don't know. Maybe you're right. Canada has guns no crime? Japan has no guns no crime! I still wouldn't want everyone packing around me. And at least make them take some kind of sanity and safety test.
That would be a personal phobia, yes? Why would you feel worried, unless you had an unwarranted fear that those with baseball bats and knives were more inclined to cause harm than something without them. Do you feel you are not capable of handling such a thing, so therefore no one else is? Or are you saying that those people cannot handle such a thing, but you're clearly qualified to?
Well you have good arguments. But I do have that phobia: it's so easy to end someones life with a gun! Switzerland may be a great example; the best case scenario. If they're not on the baseball team I suspect the worst.
Switzerland has one of the highest firearm ownerships per capita in the world, the government actively promotes firearm ownership, and they have even less gun crime than Japan. Culture, not objects, plays a large role in crime. Such countries that are melting pots of different ethnicities, races, and religions which can give rise to tensions. The US still has high crime stats even if you remove gun-related deaths.
which is why the debate is about gun laws in america and not other countries. Americans have shown they as a country and culture, shouldnt be allowed to have the responsabilities that are attached with owning firearms.
You can't magically wave a wand and ban something like guns, drugs, or any marketable item. It will just turn up in an underground market. To believe otherwise is plain fantasy.
The UK banned firearms after the 1996 Dublane shooting and it's done them no good at all. Crimminals still have guns and authorities tried to change subjects by attempting to ban and legislate knives and even glass. Good job on ignoring social, cultural, and racial tensions!
you're right! You know you all have good arguments because I think that these cases are aberrant and not good incidents upon which to draw lessons. I hold to my conviction that more gun control would be better for US society and I don't want people carrying guns to class, but I'm sorry to make this case a lesson on this issue. I guess I think there should be checks on the acquisition process.

I want gun laws to be enforced, but I do not want legal gun owners to get a bad reputation.
Take it out on criminals. Get more gun control ON CRIMINALS: They're the ones committing murder, not the legal permit holder.
Nice of CNN to show your point of view, CTV didn't have the time I guess.

if their were more requirements to fulfill in order to obtain a gun maybe this wouldn't have happened. The less guns out there the safer I feel!
