One minor nitpick: are these all from Godard films? Because I think I saw some clips form "Fahrenheit 451" and "Jules & Jim", which are by Truffaut, not Goddard.
I really only like two or three of Msr. Godard's films but I love this -- it's genuinely hip and cool and, dare I say, breathless. A lot of that has to do with the Stones. Great cutting and conceptualizing. I look forward to more.
wonderful...love it that you used gimmie shelter..i always feel the intro to that song has such urgency ...scorsese loved the song too..he used it three of his movies...love what you've done.
Excellent work my friend!!! @svinehunden No offence at all, but if you dont get the meaning of this tribute, well your just not into the magic of films.
Love it! What a shame about jean Seberg though, so beautiful and talented. Paul Belmondo a favorite of mine. Great tribute, excellent editing as usual.
The combination of stunning black and white with bright colors, unique configuration is the best. It is "THE FILMS OF PAM GRIER" - The Commodores have been proven.
I need an excellent translator...haha! Please forgive unskillfully English:D

Great work, as always. There are a few I'll have to check out. It always amazes me how you can fit a song in (perfectly) with the films you show. Well done and thanks for making this video. Donovan

A great clip loaded with action and drama, exceptionally presented! The Stones song is spot on and melds very well with the fast pace scenes. Your viewers gonna love this one, lots of excitement to go around! Kudos Billy:...Colt
A nice tribute. Suggestion. You should line up the shooting shots with the "kiss away" lyrics and the kissing shots with the "shot away" lyrics. It might make it more provocative...

I have to admit that as of this year with the little to no time that I've had available, I've been taking my movie queues from your cinematic clips. As a result I've become a Jean-Luc Godard fan. Thank You.
Excellent song to match a even greater video! I know quite a bit about editing, and no doubt you put hard work into this music video. Thanks for sharing!
Very well done Rick! And for so deserving, but such an undersung director! I sense something of a labor of love in this one, maybe a little moreso than some of your other recent videos. Or am I overstepping here. I really need to see more of these, that I haven't seen yet! Thanks for such an inspiring piece! I'm sure Godard himself would see a certain touch of grace herein! Be well friend.
Jean-Luc Godard had a reputation as a rebel, but it produces films that are more than creative, and is one of the most important, most prolific filmmakers in the history of various genres.
A amazing video with great song and perfect editing.
The circuit is typical of Rick. To laugh. :)) Delicious.
Anna Karina is almost all the movies of Goddad. I've heard taht she is now a director and that her latest movie was Victoria but I never saw one movie directed by her. Can you tell me if she developped her own style or does she use the same of Goddard's?
@MADWORLD1427 Thanks for your favorable comment! I don't know about the 'late in the game' part. Godard, despite just turning 80, has "Solicialisme" about to open as well as 3 films in varying stages of post-production. About 150 films in his ouvre, this represents only a small fraction. Yes, I'm so glad about the Oscar. I'd give anything to have seen him at the podium on the telecast! Few have made so indelible a mark on the art of cinema. Thanks again!!!
Well so far I hated Contempt and Loved Breathless so looking forward to Band of Outsiders and Alphaville
