wow i just realized how many people are just here to bitch about shit.. mixing is about the energy and the flow of the music being able to keep 2 songs in beat with eachother and be able to transfer songs its about the love for the music and sharing that with the people that are hearing it. everyone mixes differently but thats because everyone has a different perception on music thats just it i thought it was a pretty solid mix but then again i enjoy almost any mixes just cause of the music

sick choice of music right there... kinda jealous of your techs im spinnin on some shitty numark tt1625s with a broken tone arm.. just got some cdjs ordered tho so itll be pretty dope to be able to play hella more music other than its not vinyl... just the feeling of spinning the vinyl and making the music what it is and having sound be processed through the vinyl to speakers is just insane and mind blowing

This is a good mix, i didnt hear any slip-ups and it was pretty interesting too. ive been trying to get my mixing consistent but my geminis are so fucked, getting 1200's in a day or two FINALLY. My only criticism is chase & status + pedulum piss me off. everyone's taste in records differs though, great mix

Nice mix Joe, really liked it...i like the constructive criticism, that kind should always be welcomed, but i think some of the comments were really insulting, everybody starts somewhere and as people we learn from mistakes if and when we make them, so lets keep it constructive guys and if its not your thing dont watch. Because im just starting to mix full on, but its hard to get an idea of how long to play tracks, everyone here plays deep, dark shit and I play mostly liquid. i find that, if you have enough tunes, playing more closer together makes it more fun and exciting. Depends how long your playing for, if its a really long set...then maybe spread them out more at first =)=)

Thanks for your help man, until now iv just been mixing most tracks at the end of the bridge, im now starting to learn good drop points for all my tracks! Cheers for help though dude! Oh and one quick thing, do you think leaving turntables on all the time is bad for them? I dont mean actually spinning, just with the lights on? I like the blue neons, helps me sleep at night hahaha
