He's death was very mysterious....... He was assumed alone on his property, opening a gate and his car rolled back and crushed him with the open door against a tree..........In my opinion there was a a intervening hand.
He was dead set against oil and gas in the Kimberly.
So sad he was killed in a car crash after beating cancer. I have family in Australia & told me about him & this show so many times. Rest easy Malcolm.
Malcom reminded us about the hidden beauty's our great country has to offer, we definitely owed him alot more then he owed us. He had a few more doco's in him before he died to.

Malcolm aged 23 & a mate went on a 6 month trip around Australia which turned into 4 years, which they filmed, & turned into the 'Across the Top' documentary, which holds the rating record for a doco on Aussie TV, followed by 50 more documentaries he made for Ch 7 & 9., including top ranking 'In The Bush With Malcolm Douglas' on Ch7 ~he was a top bloke from the Top end ~ R.i.P
