I have to say that on this song, I like the Glee version better... there's something really playful in the way Chris Colfer and Darren Criss sing it, which to me is one of the major aspects of the song. Also, the glee version is more rythmic, which sounds better to me. But all this is personal preference.

Truly AWFUL. I have been listening to different versions of this song for decades and this has to be the worst BY FAR!. Their voices certainly do not compliment each other and the 'flow', required of this song, is just not there. I must say that of the  'recent' (if that's the right term) versions. I think I prefer Rod Stewart and Dolly Parton. At least, it has the softness, romance and flow that the mood of this song demands.

@allabarra756 Certainly a totally different arrangement and feel from say the Dean Martin version. There is a steady, relaxed unrushed flow throughout. I love the contrast in the two voices (although I do recall finding it a little strange at first ) and in the way the performers hit off each other although this performance isn't the best example of this. Even if you don't like the arrangement, vocals etc, on this, at least this isn't soulless manufactured rubbish like the Glee version!

And the tempo clashes with the mood. I had not heard the Glee version until a few minutes ago : but I prefer it by far to this version. At least it is performed in the manner in which it was written. this is an interesting performance of this song. I like it in an unusual sort of way, its very dark. Cerys sings the lines with childlike mannerisms and voice which really emphasizes the "rape" interpretation of the lyrics. To those saying you can't compare songs to the Glee version, thats a bit silly. First of all this is a cover not the original. Secondly, people compare covers all the time. Its natural to compare two covers. I like them both, but for different reasons.
