Danny Kaye is one of the true artists that most people pass over... He's as talented as anyone of his time and more talented than others of our time...
Multimumpitz!!!!! I have told people that Danny Kaye did this on the muppets show no one believed me !!! Thank you so much for posting this Ma'am or Sir it is much appreciated!!!!
I find it impossible not to cry when Danny Kaye sings a simple, sweet song like that. I feel like the world needs reminding what an extraordinary all-round talent this man was.
Danny Kay's most famous for his tongue-twister songs, but it's when he sings slow and sweet that my heart breaks open. The fact that he did both so well is a tribute to his vocal control.
Beginning computer class went a little farther. 32 and 32 are 64. 64 and 64 are 128. 128 and 128 are 256. 256 and 256 are 512. It got a little tongue trippling affiter a whilean.
The inchworm segment taught me to add doubles that way. I teach math now. When I have my students complete the pattern 2, 4, 8, ___, ____, I always think of this song and the muppets.
At 1:50 the backs of Nigel's eyes look like the backs of two pokeballs. Thank you for flying the Nerd Express, I was your flight attendant.=P

Danny Kaye truly was a wondrous man. 1913 – 1987 are the years during which he made this world more magical, and I'm glad for every one of them.
