I dunno how the US feels about this, but the UK has been gradly recognising this for what it really it. An activity that requires an incredible amount of stamina, balance and training, it's almost no difference than being in a circus performing stunts or doing gymnastics.

As a result many British women are taking up pole dancing courses as a form of exercise and for fun, I kinda see that as a good thing

Less stigma and more acceptance in the world can never be bad ^^
