  • they laugh at us...u will repay for what u did!!!!

  • omg this movie makes me already cry en makes me mad what are those for people i cant belive it i will never be like that why

  • so he was electrocuted in his moms belly causing him to have no hair? I get electrolysis hair removal now

  • The resulting combination of utensils was pretty awesome.

  • I would of been fascinated to talk to this guy. Being albino wouldn't of bothered me worth a damn. The movie does a good job of showing how most people fear and detest what they don't understand.

  • All i can think during the cafeteria scene is, why doesn't anyone stand up for him. He's just eating by himself, not hurting or bothering anyone and they all flock like a pack of rarbid fucking animals. Says a lot about humanity. :'(

  • @Sporky86 It's generally true that people will act like that. Group thought, people generally go with the flow of the crowd. It's rare for someone do go against the mass. It's because we're a social species, a survival mechanism in our mind gives us a susceptibility to go with the group, even when we know that it's wrong.

Pay attention to day to day activities. You'll find that you take part in group thought on a regular basis. From small matters, to big ones.

  • @Hobble Wrong.There are too the 1,2,3,that lead the group.SO,..You lead,or you follow,which are you ?Personally,I lead.

  • @billy1212ist You may wish that you lead, but nature says otherwise. I'm not talking specifically about the scene, obviously it's a scripted scene so it doesn't depict a real scenerio. Group think isn't something you choose to do, it's naturally ingrained in the psyches of all social species. Like I said, pay attention to everyday things when you're in big groups, it happens on a regular basis in everybodies day to day life.

  • @Sporky86 *Says allot about a portion of society's humanity,or lack there of.I have been there, and said "leave him alone",not with words, with actions.I would go befriend him, sit, smile and talk, that's all.I'm 5'-5'',and 200 pounds, with gorilla like arms, etc.People tend to shy away from me.Tough guys are few,but disposed of.I;m the guy, that ran into the fire, with my friend,Bobby Pappas, and we saved the six kids.Pushed two people out of the way of a speeding car.Saved a drowned boy.We are here too.

  • This dude was very attractive

  • i love this movie is #1

  • 5:00

    "And I'm Albino." [/walks away]

    Would have been boss.

  • 0:45 How old is the "kid" in the purple shirt, like 30?

  • A boy at my high school had albinism. He played varsity football and was part of the so-called "popular" crowd. Why can't everyone accept everyone else for who they are? Breaks my heart seeing people bullied.

  • The cafeteria scene almost makes you want to do a Columbine on their asses.

  • damn, i would have been this guys friend in high school for sure.

  • He totally would have been my best friend in high school :D

  • Powder just tugs at my heart strings like no other movie

  • That spoon trick wazzzz SEXYYYYY!!!!!!

  • hey the lady from cry baby

  • That shit with the spoon was funny as hell

  • you have to admit using his powers to freak people out is not a good way to make them leave him alone.

  • They talked to him horribly, but you guys saying they deserved to get beaten up are disgusting. you try so hard to sound 'deep' and better than those guys in the movie when you're exactly like them.

  • MAGNETO on this scene!!!!!! jk lol

  • i love this movie. kids are so mean i think powder is sexy in a way(:

  • He has a damn fine body.

  • First, he's really attractive. Second, those assholes deserve a jawbreak for treating him so cruel. and Third, after he owned them in the cafeteria, they should've backed off right then and there :-)

  • @Divdona777 Oh yes, violence ALWAYS solves life's problems. =) how wise and gentle like Jeremy you are!

people like you guys disgust me... you act like you think you're so deep and superior to the rest of humanity just because, like the director wanted, you feel sympathy for the poor kid like you're supposed to. get real.

  • @LiloPelakai

Wow, Get a life and stop harrassing everyone on here that has a different opinion than you. It's terrible of me to feel sorry for a kid getting ganged up on at school??? If you don't feel any sense of pity then you aren't any different from the callous people who just stood by and watched it happen. I never said I was deep or superior to anyone. You just assumed that about me. Violence doesn't solve much but in the real world, a bully will back off if you fight back.

  • this movie makes me wanna fight every single one of those douchebags in that film.

  • okay, so....no teachers and no girls watching and...no one ran and got a techear or...sure...

  • @xxmightyonexx The lunch scene took place at the boarding house. You do have a good point though, that no administrators came in or were even present.

  • AWWWWW, Jeremy's soooo cuuuttee!

  • UGH!!!!! Douchebags!!! The sad part about this movie is that it is based on true events. Not necessarily about this person, but your everyday ,in fact. People dread going to school, work or even in public places because they're considered "abnormal"! Behavior such as this can break a person's self esteem down enough to consider suicide and people shouldn't have to kill themselves to make a DAMN statement!!!Each and every person is beautiful in their own particular way.

  • Where are all the girls at this school. Obviously this was before Twilight haha the chicks probably wouldve thought he was a vampire

  • AFTER WATCHING A MOVIE LIKE THIS, HOW COULDYOU POSSIBLY REMAIN PREJUDICED, RACIST OR JUDGEMENTAL .... THIS MOVIE MADE ME THINK.......& CRY.....& CRY!!!

  • i agree. from the begging up to the end i was like "ohhhhhhhh he's gorgeous, he's sexy, and a good man too....." GREAT MOVIE!!! AN EXCELLENT MOVIE! A ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO THE DIRECTOR AND TO THE ACTROS AND ACTRESSES!

  • I would of walked over and taken that spoon, stuck it to the guys eye, and asked him, 'would you like to keep your eye? (when he said yes) then leave him alone' I love being a bully to bullies!

  • @Campcouch uh, tell yourself that... they wouldnt have said "yes", they like all confident, successful bullies would laugh their behinds off at you and humiliate you in front of everyone till you cried. no way you could 'bully' a true class bully.

  • MAGNETO □

  • MAGNETO

  • If I were that powder dude I'd be "telepathically" (or however he does it) shoving those spoons up everyone's ass. Then we'd see who's the tough one.

  • Is it not obvious to that dumb bitch that if he goes to a school full of fuckwit jocks that he's gonna get picked on? It's too fucking stupid for words.

  • I can't stand bullies. They just had to go over there and fuck with him. And you would think after what he did with all the silverware, they would have just left him the hell alone. Dumbasses. Poor Powder, even though he must have been use to being by himself all of the time, I still would have went and sat and talked to him. He wasn't doing anything to anybody.

  • srsly! who wouldnt wanna be his friends after seeing that spoon trick thing o.O :P

  • dumba** jocks, i swear some people are complete morons, they have no real reason to dislike this guy except the way he looks, this is what we as human beings have resulted to, hating some one without really getting to know them because of the way they look, thats have superficial we've become and its quite sad and the funny thing is even with his abnormally white skin he's more handsome than any guy sitting in that cafeteria and he's sweet and intelligent and thats even more attractive

  • that bully looks like fucking eddie vedder

  • i think that he's the most polite and decent person in that whole school

  • is this an accurate representation of hicks? kids get to run the school...no cafeteria monitors...bullies must be big shit in the cuuuuuntry...

  • only if he were a youtube star

  • yeah dude again...if he werent in such an ignorant ass white hick town, he would have been reassessed as a fucking genius...coulda went to a real big city college or even made millions of dollars...B.S.

  • I loved the juxtaposition of that last scene, a super-black doctor examining a super-white kid. Hehe.

  • Humans are like that, I mean I think that's how racism is developed. People fear things we've never seen before, in turn they're hostile. It's fucked up, but sadly true. This movie does a beautiful job of bringing awareness to it.

  • You know..he's an albino and it still hotter than the rest of those guys...I <3 Sean Patrick Flannery.

  • what kind of satisfaction are those imbeciles getting from acting like dirtbags towards a person that's just as human as they are

honestly, he is the most handsome guy i've ever seen.

  • @ROXIO7 you know, almost every human being that saw this movie think that way,

and he really is handsome and perfect as person (:

  • @Magazine30 Amen, I agree totally, he is like an angel.

  • @Magazine30 you guys forget this is set in Texas? in the middle of no where!

  • @ROXIO7 it's a movie

  • @chestifie well, yeah, i am aware that this is a movie :/

but it's not like discrimination and disrespect doesn't exist in real life

  • @ROXIO7 they don't get any satisfaction from it, you retard, they're actors. it's a movie, not a documentary. can you seriously not tell the difference between a movie and real life?

  • @ROXIO7 a lot? I dont know.

and bullcrap, you say that because he reminds you of Edward Scissorhands -_-

  • @LiloPelakai Edward Scissorhands didn't cross my mind at all when I saw him and that was a retarded assumption

and the point I was trying to make was everyone should be treated with kindness unless given a reason not to (for instance, your stupid ass reply does not deserve kindness :P)

  • @ROXIO7 they're threatened still why did the main character have to be telekinetic plus, not fascinating as if the film has a purpose.

  • It showed me my inner self and that i have often judged people from how they are looking like.

I cried when i realized that and true emotions filled my whole heart.

    Sorry for that english :)

This movie is a great inspiration.

  • i think those guys just crapped themselves lol

  • Holy shit...if Jeremy walked around with his shirt off--or his pants for that matter---he would never have trouble getting girlfriends at least. Lol. Fucking sexy.

  • Powder got some muscle!

  • I think Powders eyes are awesome

  • i like his purple eyes.. why be like everyone else ..

  • have you ever noticed that the bullies from highschool always end up losers after highschool..

  • I would have sat with him. And as weird as this may sound, I think he's goregous. It breaks my heart seeing those meatheads treat him like that. and yes, i understand this movie isn't real lol.

  • @kiwilimew i would have sat with him too. =)

  • @kiwilimew i agree i would sit with him too... and he is goregus too and still is lol

  • @kiwilimew yeah... right. stop trying to sound deep.

  • the guy in the purple shirt looks like eddie vedder

  • I love the movie i no of a lot of really big guys that had cryed on this movie so have i the movie makes u think a lot about your self it really do an herley is an asshole

  • If the powder man had a blond pony tail he'd kind of look like Svetlana Khorkina.

  • lol

  • O.o he's built!! :)

  • I dont kno if its me but i wouldve stuck up 4 him

  • @JaSrOcKsZ I think many of us would.

  • During the launchroom scene i would have went over and had launch with him. NOT LIKE THE OTHER GUYS DID! I mean just to sit and say hey whats up?? I hate seeing people alone

  • nice movie! feel so sorry for him...reminds me of my H.S days....... he's kinda cute though!

  • The actor who plays Powder, Sean Patrick Flanery is extremely good looking in my opinion! Seen him in person. HOT!

  • I would agree with u 100%

  • I felt so sorry for him :-( ....glad he could defend himself though

  • the bullys a minger

  • idk y the spoon on the end of the nose is so funny

  • I guess because it looks silly.

  • 3:27 was epic
