You really don't need the shocks. Just let it pivot on its own, and the front end will retun to the oringinal position.

@MySnailEatsPizza1 Thanks I just wanted to try out those shocks before I sold them I never got yo play with them before. and to be honest I did not like them.

@dustingallas2009 I think they were generally used for wing doors on the technic sets. They look a little big, so I can see how they could be a problem. If you need some regular shocks, a pack of ten is pretty cheep on legoeducation. That is where I got mine.
