I've always enjoyed docs about special effects, the work places look fascinating. I once took part in a mock plane crash set up for emerg response, they did not know it was fake until they showed up. to make it more real we had fake injuries, cuts burns etc, so I got to see how the artists worked. Twilight is ruining the vamp thing for me alittle bit HAHAHA(I'm more into Supernatural and Smallville now, so my upcoming vids will be some effects from those two shows!)
if i remember right sun burn to vampire is same as acid burn to human so it will leave some scars.. i got awsome regeneration .. i had 3 th degree cemical burn on my both knees .. and 3 week later it was healed ..

This was based on the Blade movie/series vampires(Cuz I was really into it at the time), which heal completely from just about anything but silver through the heart or head. Especially if they increase the amount of blood they take in(or soak in) the more blood they get, the faster they heal.
In the second image (just right after the burnt), the nails' color is too much different from the color of the finger-tips. To add a little more realism, you could add a little more black spots on the hand, to represent carbonized tissues. Anyway, great work, guys!

Give or take, Dracula originally looked like what Nosferatu is portrayed as now. Nosferatu was given the sunlight thing as an alternative ending so as to try to dodge copyright infringement.
