  • Excellent

  • I love this and I'm a white girl lol. But I've always loved all the fun stuff you can do with that hair texture.

  • i give you black women props cuz i know my white ass would be screwed if i had hair like that it looks very hard to work with lol

  • @XoBleedingHeartoX u wouldn't b screwed, even though it looks hard to work with, it's really not. i've had plenty of non black friends touch my hair and say it was soft (they wasnt expecting that lol)

  • didn't care for that hair style being nature is okay it just pend on what hair style you use.

  • This hairstyle would be perfect for my sister's wedding!!!!

  • Oh I'm sorry if that came across wrong! I was just saying it makes me really happy to hear positive comments about natural hair from people who aren't black or of African descent. It's so great!! I wanted to let lackadaisical know that he's not being offensive, he's being uplifting!

  • @mrqtahrs Thank you, I am glad my comment was not recieved negatively, because it really is meant as a thumbs up to the vid creator :)

  • Lackadaisical, I'm in no way offended! Wow that's so nice to hear from a white male! It's incredible to see that you're aware of the tendency for black women to emulate white hair. Kudos to you for speaking your mind and showing me that not everyone is clueless lol

  • @mrqtahrs I must of missed something...

  • Im a white guy who is tired of black women always trying to have "white" hair. I think this looks awesome, so much more natural and really complementing the exotic qualities of the black woman. Now I know women will be insulted nomatter what I say, but there I said it, anyway I just wanted to say this hair looks really really cool!

  • @LackadaisicalE I'm not upset you are right. Thanks

  • @LackadaisicalE - I'm confused by this conversation under my video post. Is everyone playing nice?

  • @Lovingyourhair Yes thanks I think so, it seems we all agree that black women with natural hair is just that much cooler (and alluringly exotic, atleast to me) :) And if I dare add, I also think a black woman with natural hair has a stronger, more selfassured "vibe" about her. But I did not intend for a conversation about black women, I just wanted to tell the hair stylist in this video that I think this haircut looks really really cool. Imagine this hair with a nice big pair of sunglasses!

  • @LackadaisicalE I think that people should do whatever makes him or her happy. So if that person likes to have hair that is straight it should not really be a big deal. Your comments have make it sound like black women are kind of weak to have straight. I think it is nice that you went to show your support of women who do keep her natural hair texture but not by insulting those you don't.

  • @LackadaisicalE - I hear ya boy. Natural hair is so versatile. Sometimes when i flat iron my hair, I'm stuck wondering what hair style to use. There's not many that you can do without much effort than to just lay them flat or up in one lol.

  • thanks again for posting. i did this style and it was quick and really beautiful. i dont even have as much hair as the model but the same hair texture and it worked really cutely

  • That's a lovely style - your hair looks good too.

  • very nice style!

  • perfect for a wedding :)

  • This is so beautiful....as well as the hair model! I do agree that the small tooth comb isn't the best styling tool but your videos rock!!

  • great video, i think i'll try this style out for christmas.

  • that's beautiful!!

  • nice do...thanks

  • I liked this video. Thanks

  • Why are you combing her hair with such a small comb, especially on dry hair?

  • @jbscott612003 Because I can, I've already conditioned her hair and trimmed it, so she's good to go. Some people assume that all kinky curly hair is uncomb-able, but it's not true. There are soooooo many different types of Kinky Curly hair and no two heads are alike! Oh and her hair may look dry in the video, but I always use a moisturizing Leave-In and a butter to soften the hair. Thanks for your feedback.

  • @Lovingyourhair Just because you can doesn't mean you should. I don't consider anyone's hair uncombable and I see no reason to use a small comb when a wider tooth comb would be just as effective, gentler and keep potential breakage to an absolute minimum. Having healthy hair growth is a combination of growth and retention of length through minimizing breakage. Thanks for being open and receiving my comments.

  • @Lovingyourhair lol "because i can" love that u cuda ended it right there! =)

  • @Lovingyourhair You're being deliberately obtuse. The point is is that it is not advisable to dry comb (dry as in not wet) kinky hair of any texture as it is the most brittle type of hair. If you didn't take strands of her hair into a lab to test its durability relative to the average afro-textured hair, you are not qualified to say that its makeup is so wildly varied that simple, accepted, common-place rules don't apply to it.

Nice try. Your sycophants can go ahead and down vote if they'd like

  • @SoFlyCee Please STFU with your hatin ass!! This style is very pretty, the customer is smiling and I don't think there was a handful of hair that came out on the comb. Sounds like you should stop hating so hard and take note!!! I CANNOT stand a hater!! Be a congratulater or better yet a participater. Thats whats wrong with black women today.

  • @Lovingyourhair It's only uncombable when it's dry and tangled. Moisture is the key!! Not grease, Moisture!

  • @jbscott612003 I cringed when she did that basic ass shit.

  • Gorgeous and class all the way on this style. Well done! I hope I can do it on my own head someday... :)

  • ....

  • This looks nice but you didn't really give us a good few of what it looks like from the front and side angles. Some pics at the end would be helpful.

  • Simply BEAUTIFUL! ! ! Natural is the ONLY way to go! Great style.

  • i think it looks better frontways

  • This style is so beautiful and I absolutely love it!

  • wow...so many hits! i'm glad Felicia used me! :o))) <3 her awesomeness!

  • Question. Do you have to blow it out? Does it look more polished? My hair is long and THICK without blowing it out.

  • @drdst1 - If you can achieve the look without blowing out, that's great! Post a video or picture after you hook it up!

  • That looks awesome!

  • @xiala1980 Thanks!

  • LOOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE this...i'll def favorite this vid so i can come back to try it :o)

  • sorry for me and my ignorance because i don't want to offend anyone, but could someone explain to me what 'nappy hair' is supposed to be and why on earth it's called nappy hair to begin with? this hairstyle is freaking awesome btw :D

  • @mychemicalrelapse - Thank you for liking the hair style. Loving Your Hair doesn't use the word nappy, but feel free to look up the word in the dictionary. The definition is very interesting!

  • rhat is so beautiful #TeamNaturalHair

  • This is a really cute style. il try it once im done transitioning.

  • @Tamar16100 - Thank You!

  • How do you sleep on your hair like that and how long does it stay in?

  • @6112pete - You wrap it and tie it down around the sides. It usually only last a week, before you have to refresh it!

  • WOW! Yo momma looks young!

  • @Karlalameow - Thanks!

  • Thank you ladies for the positive feedback!

  • model has a beautiful profile

  • this hairstyle is hot

  • This really inspires me to go natural....how long does it take to actually grow a perm out??

  • @mholloway1209 It takes about 1 1/2- 2 yrs. to grow out a relaxer.

  • This is GORGEOUS. I'm gonna be in a wedding next month... i might try something like this.... we shall see ;)

  • love it!!!!!!

  • good job felicia, keep up the pleasant presence, and please do more styles, I will archive this one. As for the comment in reference to the client's hair texture, it is beautiful, thick, and tightly coiled hair, Nappy is a coined word that only ignorant folks use especially when they are programmed into thinking that only straight hair is beautiful. The world is filled with all different kind of beauties which is what you need to comprehend.

  • Very nice!!

  • lol what's up with the dislikes? this was fantastic! all these hair vids makes me miss my hair soo much!! lol (I have yarn braids in lol) ughh! I miss my hair!!
