What did you do with the old light housing? I don't know why Hyundai insists on giving us the crappy halogen housing instead of projection. Also prior to installing either the KDM housing and/or HID kit, have you done any other installs or was it just trial and error and carefully reading instructions?
@supercooled old housings are in a box in the garage :D This install was very easy. If you follow instructions, it's a piece of cake. Ive done other installs in my old cars, but this one was by far the easiest.
@awesomeness2571 yes, the US veloster does not come with projector headlights. The headlights you see in the video are OEM Korean-imported projector headlights.
@awesomeness2571 you can get the Kdm projector headlights online, koreanautoimports sells them for the usa, i bought from them before and they got alot of aftermaket stuff for hyundais, they also have the led tail lights and lip kit for veloster.
hey i ordered a ddm tuning hid kit too with relay kit and what was up with that capasitor thing? and could you send me a diagram of the whole wiring cause im confused.
@crzyindn253 On most newer cars a pulse of electricity is sent to the headlights in order to prolong the life of the bulbs. When this electrical pulse is received by the relay, the relay switches on and off and makes a loud motor-like clicking noise. The capacitor holds the charge between pulses, so it eliminates the clicking, and sends a constant flow of power to the HID bulbs.

@Almostazn12 bulbs are H7s they are 6k (white with a bluish tint) the 55w washes out the blue a little bit as well.
