@lostracingfan48 Technically it's a CART as Indycar and CART split in '96 I believe but yes, this is a REAL racecar. IRL is crap and a pale shadow of what American Open Wheel Racing once was.
@gtmotor To clarify the history of the car it was originally a Patrick Racing car, the info I received from the seller regarding Newman-Haas/Rocketsports turned out to be incorrect. This car was driven by P.J. Jones and Jan Magnussen. It was used for most of the '99 CART FedEx Championship Series and then performed duty as a show car for promoting the '07 Las Vegas Grand Prix and the defunct Arizona Grand Prix.
What kind of engine did you fellows shoehorn into the chasis? Obviously this isn't the 2.65 Turbo.
